Horrible experience. Jan quoted our taxes just under $500, in the end he charged us $845 and would not respond to phone calls. He filed paperwork we didn’t need for our now 18 year old child. We are very disappointed. We need every penny of our refund from our business. He scammed us. Would rate zero stars if I could. Agness road H&R is not good for small businesses.

It was so nice to just drop off our documents and then go in and sign and pick up our copy. It was more expensive then I was expecting but they got us a much bigger refund then I was expecting so it was completely worth it.

Jan Bryant(tax pro) is not responsive and will not call you back. He doesn't get back after messages have been left. He doesn't return calls or reply to emails. Hanna was so rude and locked the doors before the posted closing hours and lied about a tax pro being available. Athena lacks basic customer service to not hang up on people after she calls you. Customer service has gone down so much. I filed a case with corporate in February and the H and R block location keeps closing the claim, so they won't get in trouble. H and R block is going to lose customers because they lack basic customer service, and we have other options for taxes.

Are tax agent, Jan is very nice, friendly, and extremely knowledge professional. We have enjoyed his service over the last 3 tax seasons. I highly recommend using him for your tax services.

Not sure about other offices or agents. I had Vicki Cooper as my agent, in Grants Pass, OR. She's great at her job. Let her do her thing, and she'll treat you right. She's done my taxes from 2020-2023, and I'll keep requesting her as my agent, as long as she is employed with H&R

I have been happy with H&R Block tax preparation for several years, however the price of preparation has gotten very high in recent years. For a computer program that does the majority of the work, $775. is too much to pay for less than an hour's work. I'm going to shop around for the 2023 tax year.

Make sure you ask all the right questions before you give them your taxes because they are not forthright about cost or other important information. Bad business practices and the 'manager' escalated the conversation to yelling when I was questioning the cost. If I acted that way at work to a customer, I would have gotten fired. They deserve no stars.
