I purchased an LG all in one washer/drier. Besides the property damage their delivery people did, the unit itself was all dented and scratched up. I called their support line the very next day and that's when the honeymoon was over. They promised one thing then two days later I had to call back and I was told they had to refile the claim and the insurance company would call me within 24 hours. They never did. Long story short is Best Buy promised people would call me back each of the 8 days I had to call them. Never to this day receive any calls back. Best Buys outsourced customer service department flat out sucks.

I honestly come here to much, but I can confidently say that they have always been the nicest people I've had the honor of being helped by. I've bought plenty of small value items and large value items and they never disappoint.

Shopped yesterday but was so obviously treated as if I was stealing a worker even stood next to me bent down and looked in my hoodie pocket because my wallet had caused a bulge but i could have counted 5 different workers come stand next to me and check me out while I was on my phone seeing if I was getting the right thing and honestly I just felt like they were gonna accuse me even the way the security at the door wouldn't stop staring I felt as if I had to leave even though I had more shopping to do I took my money elsewhere. PS profiling is disgusting just because a young adult comes in wearing baggy pants doesn't mean they are a criminal if I ever do come back here I am saying something.

I thought this best buy one of the best in Portland. Manager went beyond expectations and delivered satisfactory outcome after I screwed up the initial purchase in a rush before Christmas.

The laptop I bought in October and used ONCE stopped working. The display would not light up and the caps lock was blinking, which google says signals a hardware issue. I came into Best Buy to have my laptop fixed or replaced. I did purchase the expensive protection plan. The first associate to help me looked at my laptop and decided it would need to be replaced. He told me to simply go to customer service and ask them for a replacement since I purchased protection. The cashier told me the only way to do this was for Geek Squad to first take a look at it. I said ok, but explained that I needed my laptop the following day because it was the first day of my online bachelor of nursing program. The cashier called over Geek Squad who told me that he would have to ship out my laptop to somewhere else to determine if it can be repaired before it can be replaced and that this can take months. They also told me that I missed the return window by about a week. I again had to explain to the Geek Squad associate that I absolutely had to have a laptop for my classes which began the following day. He told me that would be impossible. He said that having my laptop shipped out and evaluated could take several weeks or months. I asked about the return window if I were to buy a new laptop, Geek Squad guy said 2 weeks which I would not have my laptop back in time. So my only option per Geek Squad would be to purchase a laptop, return it at say 13, purchase ANOTHER laptop and return it again, repeat the process until I get my laptop back. I said that sounds like a big waste of Best Buy’s money and my time. After that, the general manager came over and “extended the holiday return window” so that I could return my original laptop, to purchase another laptop. So I did that, purchasing the same model that I had purchased the first time, however I had to pay a little bit extra because they prorated the return on the protection plan, so I had to make up the difference for that. This was very frustrating, especially since the laptop I purchased worked one time, and when I went to use it again 2 months later, it wouldn’t even turn on. This was a complete hardware issue, not something that I could have prevented, and I would think that Best Buy would do a better job at making that right, especially with the almost $200 protection plan that I purchased.

Piss, poor customer, phone service, trying to simply get a hold of somebody in audio and alarms and the associate kept me on line for 20 minutes humming and hein trying to find out any information. I’ll need to be hung up on. Gresham Oregon location
