THIS one has some particular plusses and minuses though - opens at 6sm - where the rest of the Walgreens in the surrounding area open several hours later - definite plus they've obviously had theft issues here, the majority of the items for sale are behind clear plastic locked areas & you damn near gotta have an employee hold your hand just to be able to get an item off the shelf - as if that weren't bad enough - everywhere I went in this store - I found shelves mostly empty - I'm not aware of Walgreens as a company overall is heading for bankruptcy, or if just this store is going out of business, but based on the amount of empty shelf space at this store, it's either definitely one or the other,. or this store isn't doing well restocking their shelves at all... It's a good location though, this must be one if the 500 locations Walgreens is planning to close this fiscal year, out if the 2200 told ned closures over the next 3 years in the companies cost cutting measures aimed at shiring up their financial problems,,(,I looked it up - Walgreens co. Isn't going bankrupt, but they're definitely experiencing financial problems & are implementing drastic measures in an attempt to right the ship. Don't be surprised if over the next 3vyears you find yourselves in a Walgreens with empty shelves like I did at this one. An average if 23 stores per state us a lot if stores to close. (& Alot of jobs kits,)

“They are usually great and helpful. They are changing their hours which is a bummer. Closing at 7 every night so that might be a problem.But if I have a question they always have an answer. Much faster than Safeway across the street. If they don't have a med they will get it for you ASAP in my experience. If there is a problem they will let you know about it. The text when things are ready is helpful too.”

“Wonderful service experience for someone that is not even a customer! My friend was prescribed medication for a procedure from another pharmacy (WG's), but they pharmacist literally told him to call his Dr for the directions - on a Sunday - for something he was supposed to begin taking that day. We attempted to obtain any information to no avail. I suggested trying my pharmacy at the Safeway on Highland & was thrilled when Ryan took the time out of his day to speak to him directly & even suggest some over the counter items that would also be helpful. He was kind, professional & really acted like he cared. I know that reviews for pharmacies are not a big thing, but our experience was so outstanding that it was worth the time to write. I Feel Upset That they Did Not Give Any Warning to Any of Their Pharmacy Clients That My Walgreens Pharmacy Before The Walgreens Owners Shut It's Doors for Good and Moved the Clients Profiles To A Non Walgreens Pharmacy Without Any Notice. Thank Goodness I Was Able To Transfer My Profile Back to A Walgreens. “my dads in the hospital and i came in to get him a gift and a card. all i had was 5$ worth of pennie’s and dimes and some quarters and 12$ cash. my total came to be 21$ and the lady who rang my stuff up gave me a discount so i could buy both for my injured dad. it really made my day and i hope she knows how thankful i am and how my dad loved the card and stuffed animal. it helps to see the light in all the dark and i hope this person knows she was the light for me today.”
