“The Troutdale House is an amazing venue! We had our wedding here last weekend and everything was perfect. We loved their laid-back attitude and their “bring the vendors you want” policy. The place has a ton of charm and character. Our guests loved all the games downstairs and we really appreciated how many extras came with the rental. They always responded super quickly to emails (a rare trait among wedding vendors) and were happy to answer any and all questions. If you’re looking for a fun venue that’s packed with value, the Troutdale House is definitely your place!”

“On a recent trip to Portland from Orlando, I stayed at the Candlewood Suites, PDX when I arrived and departed. Danielle was at the desk both times and she is just a wonderful person. She checked me in and was very helpful explaining the house rules. She was friendly and even laughed at my multiple "dad jokes". Thanks you for having such a great employee.
Rooms: Clean with everything I needed. I really liked the floor plan and the bed was comfortable.”

“Had an amazing experience photographing a wedding here in early November! Perfect for a fall wedding. Gorgeous views of the Columbia River. The space was clean and versatile. “Fun place for the family to go . Food was actually pretty good and reasonable priced . The have beer also if that's your style . Took a little to get the bumpers figured out , you have to ask there isn't a button on the controller like other places .
Lock your car and hide your stuff the neighborhood isn't the best anymore but the facility is nice”
“Played the west course today. Many of the fairway grass is pretty sparse and you are hitting off hard ground. I guess expected considering it's the end of August. The course itself is reasonably priced, the restaurant food is pretty good. Had the Happy Hour smash burger with fries and it was tasty.”
“If you were looking for a great place with AA meetings I recommend coming here call Mama they have an awesome noon meeting where all are welcome with amazing coffee and snacks.”

“I am a Marriott titanium member, but Lorraine at the front desk made me feel that I received a better service than at Marriott hotels. I had an issue with the delivery of an important package from overseas, and Lorraine genuinely tried to help me in any way as if it was her own package. Also, after I checked out, I got a call from Lorraine letting me know that I left a pair of socks in the room, which she could mail it to me. What a great service! The room was clean and the location was perfect as well. I am now an IHG member!”

“I stayed two nights on the third floor. The floor has maybe eight rooms without bathrooms, but there's two bathrooms for the floor to share. That worked out great. The room was only about $90 a night. A great price. The hotel was built in 1911 and has a lot of character. I'll go there again if I visit that area again.”

“Shout out to Elizabeth for being a genuine human. After a long day flying, my crew was exhausted and cranky. Instead of being the average robotic worker at a hotel she was vibrant, informative, honest, kind, and above all a real deal person. It's hard not to admire her pleasant people skills. I really wish more people at their jobs were like her. Thank you. Oh by the way there's a robot that does surveillance at the entrance. It looks similar to a dalek from Dr.Who... I appreciate real people who genuinely care.”

“The credit card transaction requirement was weird in that they won't do anything over the phone. Also, they lock the lobby doors so you have to use your key to get into the foyer, which was weird. But, the accommodations were clean and comfortable.”
“An absolutely stunning wedding venue! From the getting ready suite to the greenhouse to the reception space it's fantastic. The venue is so large and has lots of photo options. I'd highly recommend it to any couple and would love to shoot here again!”

Samantha did a wonderful job at being caring and compassionate, while taking care of all the details. The staff did an excellent job of maintaining the right feel for an event of this kind. Their service was awesome. We are appreciative that we were able to honor our dad with the help of Persimmon Country Club.”
