“We absolutely love Dr.Powers and his understanding of all dog types! All the staff members are caring and willing to accommodate our 140 pound dog needs every time we come in. They all make Jonny feel safe and comfortable! They do the same for our 13 pounder too.”

“I absolutely LOVE Mt. Hood pet medical! We have all 3 of our pets there (2 dogs 1 cat) and we thought our cat had a broken paw. Called them and they got us in next day, and to our relief, it was only an infection in his foot!”

“We are first time horse owners so this experience was crucial. During night checks we realized that one of our horses had somehow(still a mystery) sliced all along the back of his sheath open. We called around 9pm and got ahold of someone immediately, they said the on-call vet would call us back shortly and she did! I was able to text her pictures and she determined that since it didn't look to need emergent response someone would be out the very next day to check him out. Thank you Dr. Ellie and team for making my first emergency/NON emergency a calm experience.”

“Years ago I managed a veterinary hospital, so I notice all the details - cleanliness, customer service, waiting time, kindness of staff etc. Dogwood surpassed my expectations in every aspect and especially the care and treatment of Nube. Knowing he’s not mine permanently (yet) Dr. Hughs provided just the right amount of care, with options for further tests depending on whether I ended up keeping him. The bill was completely reasonable given the exam and the three medications I received for him. I’ve been to several vet clinics since moving to Gresham; none of them compared to my experience at Dogwood. I will be back and I won’t hesitate to recommend Dogwood to friends. Thank you.”

“100% 10 out of 10 experience. Dr. McCurdy and her staff provide incredibly professional and compassionate care. Our doggies have been with this clinic for several years and wouldn't want them to go anywhere else!”

“This is the only place I have ever taken my dog to the veterinarian where she wasn’t nervous or afraid. The Dr. and staff made her feel so loved and they let me stay in the room with her to comfort her and keep her calm while they took blood from her. She actually left wagging and happy, the Dr. was very thorough in her examination which I really appreciated too. They went out of their way to care for our doggy and us and make sure that she was given every opportunity to get well. We are so happy to have Her as our dogs veterinary , I highly recommend them!”

“It definitely matters what veterinarian is at the vet clinic that day. This vet was amazing and was able to get nova‘s shot for heartworm results with no issues! You can tell this vet enjoys her job and enjoys animals! Much more pleasant than my last visit at the Happy Valley Vetco clinic.”

“I have had Banfield pet coverage for over 3 decades. I started my pets' care at their main office off of 82nd in Portland and then in Gresham Oregon. I've had care for my daughters rabbits as well as our dogs from small pure breed to medium catch-all breeds (don't like using the word mutt). They have helped a great deal with preventative care and in the long run it's the kind of care that we as people are encouraged to seek. I have had immediate concerns from life threatening allergic reactions to the common ear infection with every event treated with kindness, care and the professionalism that you would expect receive. They are full of praises and pets for all the pets I have brought through over the years. And when the end of life comes to be, the staff are comforting and full of quiet kind words and Kleenex. Maybe you are thinking why are her words of review so strong yet she only gives a 4 out of 5? It's because I feel that no matter how great your work is there is always room for improvement. The staff of Banfield work hard from the front desk, the exam rooms, the daytime care during a procedure and the telephone followups. In 30 years I have found 1 or 2 exam rooms unclean ( extra dog hairs on the floor ), otherwise the environment is always clean, always happy and I will always have them care for my family member pets in addition to recommending them to family and friends. Thank you Banfield crew Respectfully R. Krebs”

“Eh, I like these people. Somehow it has to be a thankless job otherwise wouldn't there be more clinics close by like this? RIGHT NOW THEY ARE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS JUNE 5TH, 2026 TO JUNE 8TH? No message on their voicemail to let you know. I drove out here and saw the sign. I'm sorry I can't give you more details. I'm still thankful for this place. Most affordable pet care available even if they do have their quirks I think they're doing the best they can.”
