“Great experience with their team. We broke down on the interstate and had our rig towed in at 10PM on a Friday night. They went to work finding the parts on Saturday morning and had us back on the road my around lunchtime on Monday. Even came in as a little less expensive than I expected. Thank you!!”
“This place is EXCELLENT!!!! I was just visiting Baker City. When I got to town, I had a small noise and within a few days the noise was too loud to ignore. I took my 1999 Durango to Hills Auto unsure what to expect due to the age of my vehicle. My Durango was fixed an hour and a half later ..... I could not believe it! I told them to fix everything they could find, because I am driving by myself to AZ. They fixed what I needed, explained to keep an eye on my coolant and why. My bill was only $115!!!! These people are so good at what they do. They are professional - thorough and provide explanations. I wish I lived here in Baker City just to have an honest. excellent repair shop nearby.”
“My family got a flat tire 45 miles away from Baker City on Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend while on a road trip home. After getting a spare on, I called Les Schwab's after hours number and was told that they are actually not doing the emergency service due to the holiday. He recommended a couple of other businesses, who did not answer or did not do passenger tire repair. After calling all other businesses in Baker City Google suggested and not getting through to anyone, I called again and he said not a problem- he'd open up for us to help us get back on the road. He was there by the time we got there, pulled the massive metal thing that had impaled our tire, put on a new tire (the hole in the tire was so big that it would have needed a truck tire patch), and got us back on the road in about 30 minutes. 5 stars for the quick service, 10 stars for being responsive after the after hours, and 50 stars for kindness, empathy and going above and beyond to help an almost stranded family get back home.”

“In July of 2023, my car broke down 35 miles outside Baker City. Was towed into town by Blue Mountain Towing (excellent) and my car dropped off at Mike Bork Auto (also excellent) at the end of the day. I stayed overnight in a hotel and wandered Baker City the next day when Mike was able to take a look at it. Fortunately, the repair was straightforward (for Mike) and was back on the road at the end of the day.While I spent the day hanging out in Baker City, of the six people I mentioned my car issues to, every one of them said Mike Bork is the guy to go to, which was very reassuring.”
