Got it all loaded and even stopped by our storage unit to pick up my toolbox on the way to our new house! Unloaded and were out super fast. Couldn't have asked for better.”

“Alder, Vladimir, and Manuel worked incredibly hard for many hours with minimal breaks. They were very polite. Scheduler Kristian was very responsive to multiple questions and date changes. I did wish I had a better sense of how long it would take because it was much more than I expected but they protected all my artwork and furniture very thoroughly and the only thing that got broken was by ME! 😉 They did take a few things from the old house that weren't supposed to go to the new house despite multiple times telling them but there was a bit of a language barrier and it was a big job. When I booked the job, I shared a wooden hammock stand that needed to be disassembled and reassembled but they did not bring the necessary tools and could not reassemble it when we got to the new place, which was frustrating and added time to the job. I've never used movers before so I don't know what's reasonable but they seemed efficient and hard working to me other than that. Other places were more per hour.”

“Portland Movers are the very best! They can pack a truck like a Tetris game, using every bit of space. They also take great care of our household belongings, making sure nothing gets damaged. “Priestley & Sons did an incredible job with our long-distance move. The entire moving crew was kind, professional, and extremely careful with our furniture, our belongings, and the house itself. What really set them apart, though, was how much care they put into packing and loading our moving truck. We needed to fit absolutely as much as possible for our out-of-state move, and Chris, the foreman, took that seriously. He made sure every box and piece of furniture was packed as tightly and efficiently as possible so we could bring as much of our home with us as we could. I genuinely don’t think another moving company would have gotten nearly as much into that truck. The guys never rushed the process. They took their time, worked incredibly hard, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. When you’re dealing with a long-distance relocation, that kind of attention to detail makes a huge difference and made every penny we spent worth it. Moving out of state is stressful enough, and having a professional moving company that cared about our belongings as much as we did made the entire experience so much easier. We would highly recommend Priestley & Sons to anyone looking for professional movers, long-distance moving help, or careful packing and loading services. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. “Last weekend we used Managed Moves for the third time. They moved my in-laws twice and my mother over the weekend. All three moves were into either independent living apartments or assisted living. The team was so patient and respectful of the seniors they were moving. They took great care of the items the moved and then set up at the new location. They did not leave until we did a walk through of each room and confirm that all was working and that the furniture was in place, in once instance, they were asked to re-set the bed to meet the needs of the resident. “Great folks. Recently rented an economy car for 2 days ish for $75. Rates were significantly cheaper compared to other companies I looked at. The caveat was that the vehicles were older model but mine was very clean and ran fine (Ford Focus). Other options for me on pick up were chevy spark and kia forte. They have other size and newer vehicles for you to choose as well. I only needed a short term rental for my city trips so this was adequate for my needs. From what I recall they might also have a service for pickup/drop off at your location for an additional $100? Overall I’d recommend folks to look into and support this small local business.”

When you hire people to come into your house that you don't know, you just hope that they are what they say they are. Travis and Brodie were both professional, respectful of our house and did I mention clean? Every day after they finished for the day there was no mess left behind. They didn't just clean up at the end of the day, it stayed clean all day long. Travis communicated to me about what to expect daily and if he saw something that didn't look right he would communicate that to me. They went over and above what was expected in every aspect of the lvp installation. I would give them a 10 star review if that were possible. I HIGHLY recommend this company for your next flooring job. Thank you Travis and Brodie for an exceptional experience.”

“Ok, Aron. Absolute legend. Wizard of the impossible incline. Our driveway isn’t a driveway, it’s a vertical betrayal of physics. A concrete cliff that laughs at regular drivers and makes delivery apps quietly cry and cancel. Most people take one look, mutter something about “liability,” and peel out like the house is on fire. Not Aron. This man rolled up, assessed the situation with the calm of someone who’s stared down steeper slopes and won, then proceeded to pilot that pod up the face of Mount Doom like it was a gentle Sunday cruise. No drama. Just pure, quiet competence that made the rest of us feel slightly inadequate as human beings. You could tell the second he started moving that this wasn’t his first rodeo on a grade that would make a mountain goat rethink its life choices. The man has clearly been doing this long enough that “steep” is just a mild suggestion, not a warning label. Incredible skills. Borderline unfair. If pod-driving ever becomes an Olympic sport, someone needs to clear a podium space for him right now. 10/10. Would trust with any driveway that hates joy.”
