“We went with this company because of the good reviews, and we were STILL blown away by just how good they were. The movers were incredibly efficient - both with time and with space in the truck. Their arrival window we signed up for was 9-10am. By 9:55, the entire truck full of 2-bedroom house was loaded up and heading to the second location? Both the guys were super nice and responsible with our stuff, and all my interactions with Natalya from the office were great too!”

“Back in May 2023, I called Priestley and Son's moving and storage for an estimate on a June move. It was a bit high for my budget. These guys went over and beyond to make it affordable and easy for me. They gave me (used but really good) boxes, lots of packing paper and tape, Free of charge. Yes, I had to pack 98% of the stuff myself, but I was already 3/4 of the way done. The guys showed up on time, had a great work ethic, had me moved in a few short hours, nothing broken or missing. By the time they were done it was half the price of the quote! Thanks guys..”

“I have been using this facility for the past 7 years. My access has always been 24 hours and I've been in and out of the units at all times of day. Jerry, the manager, has treated me and my colleagues with the utmost respect. He is genuine and truly cares about his customers. The prices at this facility (which are not mandated by Jerry) are a bit high but you're getting (1) security, (2) cleanliness, and (3) EXCELLENT service.With regards to a previous review about people sleeping in front of the store, this IS Portland so one will see vagrants at times walking the streets. However, I've never seen someone living out of a unit here, let alone sleeping in front of the store. I've witnessed Jerry approach those who were "hanging out" in front of the store and even THEN he's still courteous!Will you find a storage unit that is cheaper than this one? More than likely. But the old saying is true: "you get what you pay for." You won't find another unit around that cares about you and your property, accepts your shipments for your business, has 24 hour access and keeps the facility spotless! I've had to use a number of units around Portland, Salem and Eugene for my business and have never been treated as well as I have at Jerry's South Waterfront!”

“We chose this company pretty last minute. They were responsive and able to accommodate us for a weekend move. We were on the 3rd floor of an apartment. The 3 employees were willing to wear booties in our house. We had difficulty using a Yelp based discount, but management was able to apply the code after our move was completed. Nothing was damaged. We moved into a 3 floor home so there were 6 flights of stairs to navigate. We are pleased with the service and care we received.”

“This place is a bit difficult to find if you’re not looking hard enough. Customer service wise they were amazing. I even had to cancel my first car cause my drop off got moved and they waved the fee so I could come back a week later. I will say as far as car quality , I got the economy a Kia soul. It wasn’t in the best condition, even came with the check engine light on. I paid a bit over 300 for a week and a half. Other than that was a breeze.”

Yana and her team moved stuff from our 3000 square foot house (3BR, 2BA) in 4 hours, including a 72 inch fish tank, mattresses, and TVs. They knew how to disassemble/reassemble furniture and electronics. They were even able to bring 2 trucks so that I could send some furniture to storage and some to the new home without wasting time. Incredibly, they also accommodated my very last minute emergency day change over Memorial Day weekend, without any fuss or complaint! They were friendly, careful, efficient, respectful, and thorough.
