Gretchen and Taylor were fantastic throughout the build process, and have continued to be responsive, informative, and helpful.
Now that we have had our vehicle for a year and a half, and put 25k miles on it, it’s time for a review.
We chose a high roof Transit with a full Revolver build. Not only has the Ford chassis been issue free, so has the build. After driving to the tip of Cape Cod, and many dusty forest roads, to places like the Chloride City mine site in Death Valley National Park, the only issue has been one cabinet hinge bolt loosening. That was in the first month, or so. Since then, zero issues. Everything just works.
If you’re looking for a solid, reliable build that includes everything you need, and no fragile frills that you don’t, this is it.
I have to mention the versatility. We had our van configured to seat and sleep 6, and added a ski box and bike rack that also each carry equipment for six, and can be used simultaneously. We can haul kids and friends to school and sport's during the week, with no need to reconfigure for camping and adventures on the weekends. If I need to haul something, like a couple of 116”, 300# each crates of Van Compass rocker guards across the country- no problem! These vans do it all.
If you’re interested in getting a little further off the beaten track- watch Taylor’s eyes light up when you mention suspension upgrades. Our van has an extensive suspension rebuild which has given us an off road capable Transit with larger tires, fantastic ground clearance, and great handling, both on and off road.

“Helping a friend that broke down off the hwy. I went to auto zone because it was closer and needed a t bolt hose clamp. So the girl that worked the counter did everything she could to not have to do her job pointing to radiator hose clamps stating it's the same thing. Well I left. Went to NAPA and the older gentleman knew exactly what I needed was able to look up all the t clamps and got me exactly the size I needed. Had my friends truck going again in no time.
