The Indian Lodge Motel is a clean, quiet, and recently updated motel with a great location on Main Street in Joseph. It is very walkable to everything in town, including shops, art galleries, restaurants, the park, and the grocery store. Guests describe the beds as very comfortable with good pillows and bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The rooms are consistently noted as clean and cute, though they are also described as tiny or a little small, but functional and adequate for a short stay. Amenities like good air conditioning, refrigerators, and good water pressure and heat in the showers are highlights. Some downsides are noted regarding the bathroom situation, with very low sinks and a very narrow shower entrance. Some guests also felt the shower should have a grab bar for safety. A common mention is that management is not always on the premises, which can be frustrating if something is needed, like extra pillows or help with a door lock. However, staff and owners are also described as friendly, helpful, patient, and accommodating when contacted, quickly addressing issues. Access is provided via push-button door codes. Overall, guests would definitely stay again, recommending the motel for its cleanliness, updated rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent location.

It would have been a lot better if there was a complimentary breakfast like other hotels have.

Clean room, good service from front desk, all done over the phone as far reservation and access code, the rooms all have push button locks with codes. Daikin mini split kept me nice and cool, comfortable bed and good water pressure/heat! Great stay.
