“I have no idea if all stores do this. But this store always saves the bananas until they have no value. Which means I can find just the right ripeness for my banana bread. Most all other stores toss them as soon as they begin to turn. Which is so difficult to make banana bread right away. The green bananas take at least a week to ripen to the best for banana bread. “I've recently had occasion to stop at this location on my way to the Eugene Airport. I liked the store so much that I stopped in again just over a week later. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, best stocked stores I've been in. Also, the store personnel are friendly, professional and helpful.
