“Nice little store with good variety. Small parking area if you just need to run into store. Gets a lot of traffic due to the attached McDonalds and drive thru. Nice friendly people in the store. A one stop shop for travelers wanting gas, potty break and a quick bite to eat/drink.”
“It was a pretty good experience. They have what you need for necessities in the rural towns where you’d have to travel a large distance to get to any other place that would have such a thing.”
“Wickiup Junction is the perfect stop when you're passing through La Pine! The place is always clean, well-stocked, and easy to get in and out of. Whether I need gas, snacks, or just a quick break on the road, this spot never disappoints.
The staff is super friendly and helpful — you can tell they care about their customers. I’ve always felt welcome here, and they keep the restrooms clean, which is a big plus for travelers.
Great selection of snacks, drinks, and even some local items you wouldn’t expect at a small gas stop. It’s fast, convenient, and has that small-town Oregon charm. Definitely a reliable stop if you’re heading to or from Bend, Crater Lake, or anywhere nearby.”
“While they are a bit pricy, the entire staff is both friendly and welcoming. I needed help with a specific item, and the man doing freight, (Ron I believe) was more than happy to stop what he was doing and help me out. Thanks!”

Grocery Stores
“Good grocery store with professional, friendly employees. Never had a problem finding anything I need. With the exception of Tim's Cascade Style Potatoe Chips (Jalapeños, Dungeness Crab, etc.) Smaller town then Bend, Portland, Eugene so expect higher prices. Thank you for supporting LA Pine!”
“Edit: Just kidding. This is my favorite grocery store in La Pine, and possibly on the planet. My partner and I love coming here every Sunday, and if they're missing an item we want, we find a substitute. Great wine/beer selection, wacky ice creams, amazing cheese choices, and a good variety of health foods. Stacy (with the Halloween tattoos) is my favorite cashier.
Selection is hit-or-miss (they didn't have white vinegar the last time I stopped in--?) but if you need frozen vegetarian entrees, they have a weirdly good selection. Produce selection and quality are not as great as the one in Bend, but they do all right. The staff members are lovely--one of them tried to help me find the white vinegar for quite some time.”
