“My CJ5 had a muffler that was full of holes and made the jeep sound like it was begging to be put down.Todd did a header back install on the jeep. The muffler was angled in so that ground clearance wasn’t sacrificed. The bends in the pipe hugged the tub. It was a great job and exceeded my expectations. He even adjusted my carb.That 4.2L sounds like it has a couple of extra excellent cylinders. Throttle response has gotten significantly better. I have to remind myself not to be the annoying person with the loud exhaust while driving on 3rd st. It’s too much fun to drive now.The cost was well justified for the quality of work done. On top of that Todd was great to work with. Good exhaust shops are hard to find. We are lucky to have one in Mac.”

“I hired Robert at Bowers Diesel and Auto Repair for a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle I wanted to buy. The car was located far enough from where I lived that I couldn't ask my mechanic to look at it nor did I know anyone in the area. I called around to many places and they were all very busy and booked up. Some didn't return my call. While a couple other shops also offered to fit me in a couple days later, I decided to go with Robert for the inspection as he was not only kind on the phone, but took the time to offer me advice prior to me even bringing the car to him. He said his shop was also very busy, however he was able to fit me in the same day I had been offered by the other mechanics.Because I was out of town, the auto dealer agreed to bring the vehicle to the shop for me. Robert called me first and let me know it had arrived and his initial impressions and that he would call me back after the inspection. He treated me like I had been a customer of his for many years or had been a friend of the family.He gave me very good information about the vehicle, what his recommendations were for upcoming maintenance and repairs, went over the carfax VIN report, and allowed me to ask him questions which ultimately helped me to make up my mind. I am very glad I chose him for the inspection as his guidance helped put me at ease about my decision to purchase the vehicle and gave me confidence to proceed with negotiations for the sale.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop or enlist their services again.Edit: I forgot to mention that what I was charged for the inspection was extremely reasonable and more like the price I would have perhaps paid with the mechanic I have been with for many years rather than at a place I had never been to before. We couldn’t recreate the sound I had been wanting them to check so they said to stop by anytime when it started up again. No pressure to get suggested maintenance done and reasonable costs. “Long review, but I need to say how amazing Shilo is. My son is a student at Linfield University. His car broke down and a friend recommended Accu-Tech. Shilo is busy (because people trust him), but within a day he fit us in and found the engine had seized. He honestly could've taken us for some unnecessary repairs, whether on purpose or because he didn't know what was going on. But he knew that the car had engine issues and had an extended warranty. He gave us all the info we needed about the warranty and helped us get the car towed to the dealership in Salem for the work.The dealership took a week to look at the car and then told us it needed $1100+ in repairs not due to the engine (alternator, battery, etc). With Shilo's diagnosis I had them take "another look" and they decided he was correct. They are now in the process of replacing the engine under warranty (BTW, Shilo looked up the repairs they recommended and it would've been about half what they quoted). If we didn't see Shilo we would've spent unnecessary time and money. Bring your car to Accu-tech!”
