And I wouldn’t even call this an issue I would just say I am letting you know as a customer who truly enjoys your business and wants to see it continue to thrive.
I am very well versed in my gold, silver, diamonds and jewelry, I literally study this stuff. Everything I’ve brought to you has been real and I would never bring anything that is not.
Today I brought in a 10 k gold necklace and long story short a magnetic device was used to tell me it was gold filled and not real at all. I knew it was real, 10k gold is just 41.7% gold content and it contains other alloys, so telling me that if it were gold it wouldn’t do that is incorrect. The other 58.3% of the alloys can be magnetic. I went down the road and sold that same necklace for $700. I would just suggest a better way of testing jewelry as mine was clearly stamped 10k Turkey and a magnet test is insufficient testing for jewelry. Still fantastic place and fantastic people, if you ever need a jewelry guy let me know I would love to work for you I know my stuff, stay blessed.

One other thing I wanted to point out is that they keep “premium silver” up front which is just a fancy word for silver that you will pay well over spot for and that they will buy back for under melt. Buying locally is great and all, but do your due diligence and go online to get your spot price deals I’ve sold a lot of “premium” gold and silver to these guys and never once have I made melt but they will certainly charge well over melt for the stuff in the front that you can get for spot price on monumental metals.com or SD bullion, Bullion.com, money metals.com all have spot price deals and the stuff they sell here that they consider “premium silver” will sell for the same price they sell their basic silver for here ( buffalo rounds for three dollars over spot) or online and get some Scottsdale mint silver (((premium silver))) for the same price or even cheaper! Buying locally is ok, but if you know Gold and Silver online if far cheaper and they have far better deals!!!!

Through my time in geekery I have been to a large amount of local game stores, usually they are uncomfortable places with the type of environment that does not encourage you to come back. This is not the case with Astral. Their employees are awesome to the customers, and the customers have a higher level pf respect for the business which means they treat it well.

I could sing Astrals praises all day long, seriously if you're into any kind of hobbyist activities they are the place to go. Highly recommend and I will continue to be a loyal patron as long as they are in business!”
