Galice Resort is a beautiful and relaxing destination located along the scenic Rogue River in southern Oregon. The resort offers outdoor games, live music on weekends, and a variety of food and drinks, including a food truck culinary service and a full bar. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and the overall atmosphere, which combines natural beauty with good service. Despite challenging twisty, one-lane roads to reach it, visitors find the experience worth it. The resort has a long-standing history, and even after a fire, it has returned better than ever, providing outdoor seating, live music, and a variety of snacks and souvenirs inside the shop. Oh, the memories. I first came to Galice Resort around 1983, the second of the many years I started rafting the Rogue River. I love this place. Gorgeous location. Good, kind people. I absolutely adore coming here. This is the splendor of southern Oregon at its best.

The Galice Resort burned down but I hear they want to rebuild and are dealing with new building challenges and red tape. I wish them well and hope they are able to rebuild successfully!
