Nice quiet place for a family of thirteen. Very pleasant way to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The rooms were clean. And there was lots of space for family in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and appliances. Two gas grills on the deck. Plenty of space to park including covered parking spaces. Great place to stay I highly recommend it.

I stayed at Galice resort in the lodge after a guided rafting and kayaking trip on the Rogue river. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable but not luxurious. I would stay there again. My one complaint is that the WiFi wasn't working when I was there, so don't count on having WiFi.

The Riverview House at the Galice Resort is heaven on earth! The perfect boaters pre and post Rogue River trip basecamp, ideal for our group of 12. Comfy beds for all, large kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain, a full laundry with not one but TWO washers and dryers, a large living room AND a family room with a pool table, plus the icing on the cake...the HOT TUB on the deck overlooking the river. We'll be BACK!!! ❤❤❤

This place is a national treasure. The fire destroyed the structure, but their can-do-attitude, and willingness to stay in business is pure gold. Support The Galice Resort. We need them back in full force! And the river/whitewater community needs them desperately! Keep up the good (and now, even - much - harder work!)

Support Galice! It's an awesome little resort that has great cabins, and offers a great rafting experience... They had a fire in their restaurant which was devastating. But they are pulling themselves back up by their bootstraps to keep the business going. Please help support them as they are a great part of our community.

I am so sorry to hear about the recent fire. But I am ready to support them and book my next raft trip through them. I want to support the business, they've always been amazing and a favorite spot on our Rogue River trips.

We stayed one night with a large group, and it served its purpose well. The kitchen had everything we need, there were plenty of bathrooms for our huge group, and location is perfect for our rafting trip the next day. We walked down to the water and dipped in.

We had a family reunion this week at the Galice Resort Riverview House. Most of the ten adults who spent three nights at this amazing location, which overlooks the Rogue River, were traveling from out of state. The savings were substantial, compared to hotel and restaurant costs. We were expecting rustic accomodations, but were surprised to see that the Riverview House had been recently updated. The house was very open with abundant windows and was tastefully decorated. There were two spacious indoor areas perfect for gathering and conversations. A large dining table with chairs and bench, capable of seating ten people, was next to the modern, well-equipped kitchen. My favorite spot was the large deck with a barbeque, dining table, hot tub, all surrounded by tall trees plus a fabulous river view. The house has three bathrooms and five bedroom areas. Linens were plentiful, and there was even a washer and dryer. Wi Fi connection was available as well as a landline phone.Everything was clean and attention to detail was evident. Even the parking was generous as we could easily park six cars right in front of the house. I can't say enough to recommend this location. We were all impressed with our stay at the Riverview House.

Ooo, honey! $80.00 for a cesear salad, 3 fish tacos, a Blt sandwich, a bottle of beer, ice tea, and a grilled sandwich!! Woa!Then to top it of the waitress wouldn't let our well behaved 24lb terrier to sit with us on the huge outdoor patio! Way out in Galice! In fairness, the waitress was nice. But really!

The resort has had a rough go this year since the restaurant and store burned down last month. The 'office' closed before we arrived and they left the room unlocked for us since we got in late, and taped a map to the side of a trailer for us. I expected it to be rustic but I was not expecting what we found. There were multiple problems with the room, none of which would have been a big deal on their own, but combined was too much. The bathroom pocket door was missing its runner so it didn't close correctly, you had to pick it up and slide/pull it closed. The toilet was clearly not seated correctly and we referred to it as the 'rodeo toilet', you sit down and it shifts forward, stand up it flies backwards. They clearly knew it was 'broken' was they filled the gap with caulking, which did nothing. On the bright side, once we cleared the 8 spiders out of the bathroom the shower worked fine. The bunk bed was frightening and swung wildly back and forth, no way was it safe for kids to be on the top. The coffee maker that sat on the fridge had a cord that didn't reach the outlet so I had to put it on the floor to make coffee. The bed was rock hard and we slept poorly but it appeared clean. The AC 'worked' but was also broken and was super loud. I probably wouldn't complain if this cabin were half the price, but it seemed way too expensive for the poor conditions.

Debbie T is a racist who drinks on the job with her employees. They will also drive your rig drunk and lose your car. They call you the n word if you are brown or black You will be overcharged for everything including frozen, not made locally food and outdated rafts. Debbie charged my special needs daughter a dollar per biscuit for " homemade biscuits " after my recent surgery. Boxed biscuit mix is NOT homemade. It's boxed. We are a multiracial family who is standing up to this discriminatory business. I was warned about Debbie, from people in Galice and Grants Pass. The community hates you and sees you as a mean person with an ultra inflated ego. Now, I am the one warning people about Debbie.
