These queens have helped me out of many a twisted, dropped, and lost stitch and I am so thankful for their existence, patience, and willingness to help me become a better knitter!”

1634 SE Bybee Blvd, Portland“As a self-described craft addict, I love this neighborhood craft shop. It carries a wide variety of craft supplies. Customer service is always excellent. They are able to answer my questions and point me towards the right supplies. This is the perfect place to shop at holiday time to make fun DIY gifts or inspire your family and friends to take on a creative project!!”
“We bought a Gear Bot for our school. Our Gear Bot remote control did not work, so we called the Lake Oswego store to ask what we should do with the toy that wasn't working. The person on the phone treated us great. She was kind and very helpful. We took it back to the store and they helped us exchange it right away. Thank you!”
“Just discovered a few minutes before their closing time. They appear to have everything and more.Love that they're a local owned business.I will be back again !”
“the best art store in town. both for the range of supplies (oil & wax based colored pencils! 100% cotton paper options besides arches!) and the BOGO section with really nice brushes. everything from jelly roll pens to Daniel Smith watercolor to raw pieces of masonite. as a watercolorist/acrylic painter, I love the selection of surfaces available. and you can call the staff and they will, unprompted, thoroughly check inventory for you! never disappointed. i love this store.”
“Fully stocked and helpful staff. My wife came in and wasn’t sure exactly what she needed and the staff assisted with selections and carding out heavy items to our car. Can’t ask for better service.”
“Beautiful and exciting ideas for glass designs. Someone will greet you and help you as soon as you enter. Extremely helpful. Beautiful glass for all applications.”

1639 NE Alberta St, Portland“Loved the organized chaos. Soooo many ideas for future art. Only wished we lived a bit closer for regular visits. Already on the list for another visit late spring 2024.”
“You know, I kind of feel like a fish out of water when I come here....but, the staff is always so helpful I always am happy when I leave. If that makes any sense. I do custom leather work and feel more comfortable in a saddle shop but sometimes I need different things, fine brushes, velum tracing paper even odd ball colors of acrylic paint and Hobby Lobby is my go to!”
“Love this little shop. The owners are very kind and happy to help you take your time to find the perfect writing tool. Ended up picking out a nice utilitarian—but elegant—Cross fountain pen. Great selection of fountains by the way, though I'm often here for ballpoint refills or to see what stationary they have in stock. Lots of other things I haven't taken a closer look at that the store offers.”

2751 NE Broadway, Portland“Such a creative, cute shop. The owner was so sweet and approachable when we came in. If you love to restore furniture, you’re never going to want to go anywhere else!!!!”

“If you are a creative individual with a bootstrap budget - you will not be dissappointed by checking this place out. Just reflecting on their selection of brushes has proven to be effective at reducing panic/anxiety related to inflation; maybe paintbrushes aren't your jam - that's cool; you'll find your own bargain, and It will be super great! In all seriousness; "I've Been Framed" is on my must-stop list of shops for selection, knowledge, quantity, and affordability. The folks that work here are chill, knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is incomperable to other supply shops in the area; that's right! You can ACTUALLY reasonably occupy space here without being gangstalked by over worked, hypervigilant employees. ?”
“Javier of Pearl Packing quickly responded to my inquiry about hanging a large painting, and fit me into his schedule amazingly fast. Communication was excellent, he and Mark were courteous and professional, and I am absolutely delighted with the results as well as the reasonable price. Thank you!”
“Amazing service! I’ve been in a few times getting some art framed. All the workers are friendly and take your time to go over your options. Turn around is a little long 3-4 weeks but I get that it’s a long process. I have a few more prints I need custom frames for and I will definitely be back.”
“Good variety and uncluttered layout. They have all the watercolor resources I want, including an especially complete selection of Daniel Smith paint. Friendly staff. Free off-street parking behind the store.”
“happy to have an art supply store in my neighborhood. theyre always super helpful here! wish the sewing section was a lil bigger but i usually find what im lookin for :•)”
“Visited this shop twice now, and have loved it! The ladies who work here are so helpful and knowledgable. Great array of glass sheets. We haven't tried a class yet, but I've only heard great things!”
“Came for arts & crafts-- the goods are much more affordable compared to other craft stores and the aisles are incredibly organized Downside: lacked feline toys”
“Staff are really nice and helpful. The lines sometimes get really long due to how the cashiers have to do all the sales by hand. Not the staff's fault, the company needs to update its procedures.”
“I stopped in looking for some help fleshing out ideas for my DIY wedding invites, and the sales associate Shane who helped me was SO knowledgeable and kind! I am truly clueless when it comes to paper crafts, and he was able to point me in the right direction with proper paper sizing, weight, and custom wax stamping. Highly recommend!!”
“Now that our JoAnns on 82nd is closed, I have to come to this one which is pretty far. What they gained in distance, they make up in size. Whoa this is a huge Joann's. Lots of space. Lots of fabrics. They must have cleaned up since previous reviewer because everything was neat and the aisles were clean. The people who work here are pretty nice. I gave the fabric cutter 5 stars! You can sign up for fabric cutting with the kiosk. My daughter likes to craft, but I'm here for looking at all the fun fabrics. Buttons, fabrics, crafts, candles...you can find a lot here!”
“Good sales and good variety of fabric. Helpful staff. I shopped early evening between major sales promos but all items I got were on sale. In the past I have also shopped online and picked up items in store in when i didnt have much shopping time.”
“Kelly is just the best person with the most interesting inventory, best crafty classes, and the biggest group class table in the entire Pacific Northwest. Her projects are so much fun, and her guest artists teach amazing classes. You have to check out K.marie!”
