About Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette
Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette is a non-profit organization that aims to provide vocational opportunities to people with disabilities and others facing employment barriers. The organization operates retail stores, outlet locations, two online shopping sites, and attended donation centers. Donations and purchases at these locations fund the organization's free job services programs, and they take pride in being good environmental stewards through their award-winning recycling and salvage operations. While the reviews generally praise the organization's efforts, some customers have faced challenges. The parking situation is often described as problematic, with limited spots available. Additionally, some donors have reported being yelled at for attempting to donate items that are not allowed, even when the policies are not clearly communicated. Despite these issues, many customers express positive experiences, highlighting the helpful and friendly staff, particularly at the store managed by an individual named Curtis. However, one reviewer had a frustrating experience when trying to sell a computer, only to be told it could not be sold, leading to concerns about the organization's integrity. Overall, Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette appears to be a valuable resource for the community, providing job services and environmental stewardship, while striving to maintain a positive customer experience, though some areas for improvement have been identified.

This is an outlet store for Goodwill. You need to sift through big bins full of Goodwill items to find the gems that you are looking for.

This place is great but the biggest flaw is the parking situation. There are never any spots available, ever. It doesn’t really matter what day or time of the week, you’ll be circling the parking lot for what feels like forever. Many times I had to give up and go home.
