“it was my first time buying anything at a pawn shop so I wasn't sure what to expect going into it. both my own and my partner's experience was nothing short of fantastic thanks to Ignacio; who helped us out.
we ended up picking out a cream colored fender that was priced at $140. when we brought it up to the counter; Ignacio assured us both that the guitar had been tested but we were free to test it out if we'd like. while he went to find a case for it (which he gave us for free 🤩) he told us to look over the guitar to make sure we were happy with it and then to make him an offer.
this was to my surprise seeing as it was already fairly priced (imo) but because of 1 or 2 scuffs I offered $10 below the asking price; to not accidentally low ball lol.
Ignacio; the gem that he is, took a FURTHER $10 off the price, making it $120 total !

“USA Pawn & Jewelry is a great place to do business.
I found an amazing pair of vintage Nike Patchwork shoes there, and that alone made the trip worth it.
A lot of pawn shops feel random. This place felt fair. That matters.
The price was fair. The people were easy to deal with. No nonsense. No weird pressure. Just a good find, a fair deal, and a smooth transaction.
That is really all I want from a place like this.
Good inventory. Fair prices. Straightforward business.
The Nike Patchwork shoes were exactly the kind of unexpected find that makes pawn shops worth checking. You never know what will be there, and sometimes you find something better than what you were even looking for.
