“The Pick of the Litter has a treasure trove of items. Some of the products are in better shape than others, but the prices are generally very fair with a few exceptions. It can be cluttered and difficult to walk through if they are busy, but I can usually find a few items to purchase when I visit the area. I also recommend checking them out if you are an avid reader as they have several shelves of gently used books to read.I recommend reading about the Pick of the Litter on their website. This local business is a non-profit, and their funds go to a good cause.”

“Am in there at least 4 to 5 times a year. Personal are cheerful and greet everyone that enters. They explain how the area is set up so if looking for a specific area to tour or see what attractions are in a particular area there usually is a brochure/booklet to help guide you.I usually have several extra brochures and maps in my car as when I stop to see an area I would hear people talking/asking about something particular and where to find it.I give out quite a few of the mile by mile books for the coast and people are surprised at the content. Anything to do with the central coast and Newport I introduce what informational booklets I have.I also carry the big blue booklet that explains 101 things to do and see in Western/Coastal Oregon. I know I was quite happy to look thru this piece as gives me an overview of not just my immediate area but also the entire coast.Even if you use your phone/tablet to research it really doesn't give you the in depth information(with pictures)that these travel books can.I highly recommend stopping and seeing what is available and get some grade A first hand knowledge from the personal.”
