Motel 6 Newport, OR offers a mixed experience for travelers. While some guests find the rooms clean and spacious, with amenities like refrigerators, microwaves, and jacuzzis, others report issues like poor water pressure, lack of hot water, and noisy doors. The location is convenient, near the Rogue, pier, and jetty, and some rooms have balconies with nice views. However, the cleanliness can be hit-or-miss, with some guests noting sandy floors. The motel is pet-friendly and provides efficient check-in, but the front desk is not always staffed, which can be a concern for some. Overall, Motel 6 Newport, OR provides a budget-friendly option for travelers, but guests should manage their expectations accordingly. The rooms are generally comfortable, but the motel's basic amenities and occasional maintenance issues may not suit all visitors.
I was very disappointed. The staff was not very friendly. You had to beg them for a hair dryer. There was Sand In between the sheets. The place was dank and it smelled. It was like a throwback to the 50s.

The door would barely close. It squeaked so loud ! Ever time we tried taking a shower (morning or evening) there was no hot water. There was no air conditioning. After a curtain hr of the evening there was no one at the front counter. I would not recommend this hotel

It was actually not bad. The locals said it would be loud, but we had a good night's sleep.
