“I contacted the owner with my concerns regarding the "Check Engine Light" and my car bucking when accelerating. He promptly scheduled me for an appointment at 8AM the following day. I requested a tune up at the same time since it had been over a year since the last one. An hour after I dropped my car off the owner, Rick Herbert called and said the problem was diagnosed and would be ready for me to pick up the following morning. He also added that the car DIDN'T need a tune up, the plugs and plug wires were fine and the engine was running according to specs. A less than honest mechanic would have put new plugs and wires on and charged me for a tune up which I didn't need. I was more than pleased with the total car care provided by this business.”
“One of my tires had a slow leak. Bill found a screw lodged in the tire that another well-known chain store had missed. No charge! Very kind and generous - appreciate the great service and expertise - thank you, Doug and Bill.”

“I generally find it difficult to trust shops with my vehicles, but AAMCO Newport has earned my confidence. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of transmission work.”
“Hands down the best mechanic on the Oregon Coast! Justin and Kayla are as honest and hard working as they come! When another local mechanic burned us and cost us thousands of $$$ just to trash our daughter’s car, Steens was there to fix it right and save the day! Thank you so much guys!”

“Paul & his team are very good mechanics. Quality work. I feel I can trust their assessment & recommendations regarding my car. I appreciated Paul taking the time to explain the reason why transmission fluid needs to be changed. Showed me pictures of the filter that was replaced. The office is organized & very clean. No worries about sitting on oily or greasy chairs. My old car runs like new, thanks to these guys.”
