This used to be a community bank with great service. I have had personal accounts, home loans, and business loans through them. Since their expansion and then being taken over by Columbia Bank, they have steadily worsened in customer service and are downright nasty in dealing with their loan department now. They threatened to call a loan if all of our banking wasn't done through them. I am paying off a current loan and shifting all of my banking away from them. They seem purely interested in profit at this point,

I've been banking at Umpqua Bank for over 12 years they've always had steller service always Ready to help when I have a problem and making me feel like they really care I will never change banks these people are awesome!

I really can't say enough about my Banker at Umpqua Bank. Nathan Brasher is the reason Umpqua Bank in North Bend is the world's greatest bank. He consistently goes above and beyond for his customers. I have been banking there for many years and with staff like Nathan Brasher I won't be going anywhere else. I hope that the Bank recognizes his value to their successful business in a way that will keep him happy. I highly recommend this Bank to others whether you are looking to find a great place to handle your Business Banking needs and or your personal-as long as Nathan Brasher is there you won't be disappointed.

The supposed worlds greatest bank needs some training and staffing. I used to sing their praises, now I can't get helped. Looking for options at this point. It used to be the worlds greatest bank. So yesterday after posting this review I called in to make an appointment for help. After holding for over 30 minutes I hung up. This morning I went into the bank again and it was quiet with a different associate who helped me with my wire transfer. Both employees who were there yesterday were friendly and the experience was good. If you are reading this Mr or Ms manager, you need sufficient staffing during peak times. Tyler Kinney, store lead associate was very professional and knowledgeable this morning. He gets five stars, I am changing my rating to 4 stars overall.

I've used Umpqua Bank since moving to town in 1991. Now, although as with any business, there have been some moments of frustration (welcome to real world) they have been overall fantastic and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks for many years of fine service. Charles Hurbis, MD

I can't find my prior review anymore for some reason? I want to update by adding this review in 2021. Great service is remarkable these days and I believe you are doing everyone a huge favor by publicly noting when you come across a Business that truly makes you feel important and your needs cared for in your interactions with them. My Banker Nathan Brasher with Umpqua Bank is the best banker I have ever had. This says a lot because I am a very high energy busy busy entrepreneur. Nathan gets things done like no other! He is spot on and treats me and my employees in a familiar way which is so nice to experience when doing business with your banker! As a customer of Nathan's you are not just a number!

Based on my credit card processing experience with Umpqua I wouldn't go near the bank. Horrible, dishonest company. I cancelled months ago, jumped through hoops, sent a fax, whatever they asked. One more time they billed me the monthly charge despite the fact I haven't used them in Many months.Yeah, STAY AWAY.

I've been with Umpqua for over a decade. They offer steller service! My only complaint, and it seems a small one, since their service is otherwise so terrific, is that it's almost impossible to make a call and get my local branch.

Umpqua Bank allowed someone to steal more than $1500 from my account, with no notification. When I reported it, they "investigated" it and told me it was my fault for allowing PayPal to sign in automatically. Umpqua Bank basically handed the money over to a thief, and now I can't pay my bills.
