I stopped by because I’ve been without a phone because at and t ripped me off. A girl named friendly lady named rachel was super helpful and able to get me a free phone with an affordable plan that I could afford. I was able to leave with a working phone and not lose my job thanks to the help of this gal. I only had 100 $ in my pocket and was desperate and seriously stressed that I would not be able to make this work. So I have to thank metro by t mobile for working with me and hooking me up.

I've spent a few weeks considering leaving this review, and partly I just needed some time to calm down so I could have any hope of keeping this civil. My fiance went in a few weeks ago to get her phone service reactivated. She was trying to get the cheapest service at 35$ a month. Now, the reactivation only costs 20 - 25$, so we were a bit confused as to how the charge came out to 75$, but the lady employee was being flaky and not explaining things well, so we decide to simply eat the charge and be happy the phone was back on. Then we were told that the payment wasn't showing in their system despite the fact that we watched the withdrawal from our account at that moment. She promised us she'd get it sorted out, and we left with the phone working.
Then it stopped working the next morning, and we saw that we now had an 85$ balance due. So we went back. The same lady employee was there, as were two other employees. None of them could help us. Since the payment wasn't even in their system, they couldn't process a refund or do anything else. Then they called support... Customer support. I guess they don't have any internal support line, which is absolutely ridiculous in itself. They miscommunicated with the representative multiple times, got nowhere, blamed it on our financial institution, and gave up.
We called our financial institution and verified the payment was processed and completed. So we went to another metro store looking for better customer service. We found it, but here's where things take a darker turn:
The rep at this new store looks at what little there is of an account for us and reveals that our pricing is not what we agreed to, and that we were signed up for all kinds of extras with no consent or notice. Basically the employee at THIS Metro PCS intentionally tried to rip us off. I've considered calling the cops. The woman was also obviously on drugs.
We never got any real resolution to this issue and ended up having to do a chargeback with our financial institution. Never again will we use these absolute CRIMINALS. And I am still considering reporting this to the police. That's fraud, ya junkies.

My phone was NOT sending text messages, EVERYTHING else worked, I started a new job and NEED my phone, I called customer service 5 times and they did not solve my problem SOOO I went into the store and CHRIS apologized and did not let me leave until my problem was fixed. THANKS CHRIS!!

When in to see about upgrading my phone. The gentlemen wasn't helpful. Stated they had no promonital phones,check other stores or go buy phone at Best Buy and bring it back and he would activate for phone. Have been with Metro close to 10 years and even if this store is by my house I will go to different store for phone.

Metro has some of the best service that I've ever gotten. Not only is the product good, the employees are super helpful and polite. I will say though that the thing preventing five stars is the fact that the website is a little convoluted, and there is no way to check how much longer until I have to pay my bill again without calling in to them.

Representatives were unprofessional, cursing and complaining about phone customers, talking to each other about computer system issues, and talking down about the products I came in to discuss. Offering to help people with the problems he made them discuss openly in front of all customers. Loudly talking about the phone I was as trying to get a SIM card for being a poor purchase choice while I was at the desk.
Was charged 35$ for a 10$ sim card and left without the phone functional. Was refused a refund for phone activation and transfer fees.
Went home and had the phone activated in 10 minutes myself. Called customer service and hours into the ordeal they offered the oi nly solution was to go in the store and get them to make a call to resolve the issuel.

The highly unintelligent girl who uses the job as day care for her child attempted to tell me that the power input on the power bank purchase was the same as the power output. She then proceeded to rudely explain to me that because the power bank was down to half of it's available power supply that this was why it would not charge my phone. Unfortunately, no matter how bad you want to be right you can't make that make sense. All this knowing I was stranded with no power on my phone to get out of Gladstone. Not only is this the prime example of horrible customer service or absence of basic human morals there is a serious lack of education and professionalism happening in this building. It would not surprise me that this will lead to inevitable store closure and requires a serious look from upper management.P.S. as best as I can tell this is the same employee that was referenced five days ago in a different review regarding horrible customer service. It would be unwise for management to continue to allow this behavior
