“Expensive repair but I got a second opinion from dealership and they quoted me nearly the same repair cost. Appreciate they used OEM parts for this job so we didn’t have to do it all again because they used cheaper parts. They were quick to get me in and do the repair. I will go back and definitely would recommend. Nice crew too.”

“I had a great experience with Kauffman Automotive Repair Service (KARS). Everyone was extremely help from making the appointment to the service I received. I asked them to perform a tune-up on my 2017 RAM 1500 Hemi. I requested the NGK Iridium spark plugs which as it turns out they were going to use those anyway. Love it when a plan comes together. The truck runs great and I'm happy as a clam. No question, when I need vehicle service in the future KARS will be my first choice!”

“I can't even begin to describe how kind Tammy is and how knowledgeable she is on power stroke motors as well. I recently bought a 6.0 power stroke Ford F350 and was lied to and sold a complete lemon. I read reviews, trying to find somebody who specialized in these vehicles and as soon as I called Tammy, I knew I was in great hands. She seems to know these vehicles better than I know myself. I had her run diagnostics on the vehicle for me after buying it to pinpoint what was going on with it to hopefully be able to fix it. Within a day she called me back and had everything figured out for me. Unfortunately, fixing the truck at this point is a bit out of my budget with the major repairs needed. I was very grateful to at least know what was wrong with it exactly and where to go from there and she figured that out for me very timely and professionally. You can talk to this lady and can just tell she knows what she's talking about. I told her I was happy with her work she did and I'm very thankful for her figuring it out for me. I asked her how much I owed her for the diagnostics and she said she's not even going to charge me because of my situation getting screwed over buying this truck. I was speechless. I cannot think of any other business I've ever experienced where good people like this exist. I told her I'm happy to pay, but she refuses to take any money from me. Seriously, such a cool person! I'll be forever grateful and definitely pay it forward. I highly highly highly recommend Tammy and her shop to anybody who has a power stroke motor. If you're looking for somebody knowledgeable that you can trust and count on I dont think you could find a better place to have your powerstroke worked on. “Got recommended here by my co-worker, drove out far because of it, and I am more than happy at the service I received!
My battery was dying on me and the connector to the terminal was so badly damaged it couldn't really be saved without excessive work. The worker here (Trevor I believe) hooked up a new connector and got a new battery in far faster than I'd expect while helping out his coworker with other problems popping up. Knowledgeable, patient, and consistently answered my questions while letting me hover over him like a fly so I could understand the work being done.
Will absolutely be recommending this place to anyone I know who needs a new battery for their vehicle”

“I have brought two vehicles here on three separate occasions for repairs that I was unable to do at home. I do most of the maintenance on my vehicles and rarely visit a mechanic. The service at John's has always been as discussed with transparent and frequent communication regarding the diagnosis and progress of the work. My most recent visit involved a more complicated diagnosis to address a lean mixture code. The mechanic spent the time to check the major systems and the shop staff spent extra time talking with me about the history of the issue and previous repairs all in an effort to properly diagnose the issue. The mechanic identified the issue as a faulty, aftermarket MAF sensor. I doubt many other shops would have gone to this much trouble to properly address the issue before throwing parts at a difficult to address check engine light problem. Last, the shop took the time to pop out a substantial dent in the front bumper cover that I did not ask them to do but was sorely needed. I was thoroughly impressed that they took the initiative to fix an eyesore on the vehicle and did not charge me for the work. Thank you, John's Auto Repair, for your honest service and critical thinking approach to vehicle repair. It may be a bit of a wait to get your car serviced here, but well worth it!”

“I had two chrome faucets and a soap dish that I needed to be copper plated to match the other fixtures, starbright disassembled the faucets (not an easy job) and did a beautiful job of perfectly copper plating them. They gave me a great price and I am very happy with the results!”
