“GO THERE NOW! One of my favorite shops in all of Portland. All the vendors so lovingly curate their spaces and the Urbanite staff are so so sweet and helpful! Seriously. GO! You're gonna love it.”
“This place is a treasure trove! You could spend hours in here looking in every corner for all kinds of cool old stuff. There’s tons of ephemera, from old photos to posters and old valentines and way more. They’ve got beautiful jewelry and housewares too. The owner is a great person who cares about her community and goes to great lengths to help anyone in need. A great place to spend your hard-earned dollars.”
“What a gem!!! We passed this on our way to PAM and decide to walk down after our visit there. Their museum is beautifully done, packed full of really cool stuff, great atmosphere inside. Amazing gift shop too!! Staff was also super friendly. Definitely a new go to when people visit!!”
“A carefully curated and organized (and really beautiful) shop full of neat stuff. Focused on hardware, of course, but still one of the best antique shops I've been to.”
“My favorite spot to browse antiques in Portland! It feels like a hidden gem, with just the right balance of display and potential for rummaging. They are always so lovely and knowledgeable, and really went above and beyond for our furniture delivery. It’s tough for a collector to give up the dirt on a favorite spot, but I really want this family business to thrive. Long live R. Spencer Antiques!”
“I’ve never had a more magical experience with buying and selling jewellery than the exchanges I’ve had with Poor Mouchette. They are wildly knowledgeable about the pieces in their store, anything you might bring in to sell, or if have questions about a piece you know little about. Poor Mouchette has repaired pieces for me at a fair price, pieces I didn’t even purchase from them, and they have made that process fun and exciting. The people working at Poor Mouchette are passionate about antique pieces and jewellery in general, and have always provided creative solutions for anything I might want to have reworked somehow or give a second life to. Every time I visit this shop, as someone who loves jewellery, I feel like I’m in an adult candy shop. The curation is beyond impeccable. They also do really beautiful custom pieces, which feels special and not something you’d normally expect from an antique jeweler. I cannot recommend this magical shop enough if you’re looking for an engagement ring, charms, gorgeous vintage earrings, a necklace…they have it all and more!”
“Love this place. My favorite carts and gummies are on sale on Fridays SUPER cheap, I always make sure to get in! Friendly service, other fun stuff to look at! I often end up choosing a cute enamel pin, sticker, or stone while I'm there.”
“Don't miss out! This is a very rare find!
Stocking several vermouth and Amaro, and a few bitters is impressive, but this place has hundreds!
To top it off you can learn everything you want to know and more, weather you've never heard of them or are a seasoned bitters drinker!
Can't speak on the furniture but the shop looks like an indore garden. Absolutely beautiful.
Hands down my best stop on my first trip to Oregon. Thank you!”
“First time buyer...put simply, EXCELLENT service. I wish I could give more than five stars. Initial communication to confirm availability of items (collectible LPs) was answered the same day. I made payment and had confirmation of USPS shipping THAT SAME DAY. And this was no small order. Shipping across country took less than a week. Very well packaged. I'll be shopping with Gary Germer & Associates again for sure!”
“I love going to this store. I got an awesome tool box and tool caddy. Last time I got original art. I always get good stuff at prices that are unheard of. Original art for $7. Incredible.”
“My go to place when i need a New England fix...the smells and decor give such ambience and the smell of Fall has arrived...Joan the owner is always pretty much able to answer any questions and share info...been going there since 1985!”

“Joshua and Charlie and their collection are amazing. It’s hard not to bankrupt myself when I visit their gallery. I can’t thank them enough for the treasures I have purchased from them. Their love for art bleeds into the world and makes it a better place.”
“Store is an amazing collection of mid century, contemporary, and Asian furniture in decor at amazing prices. The staff are friendly and helpful. Went for the first time today "just to look" and came home with a beautiful antique table. They offer a unique mix of options and appear to have new items moving through frequently. Don't forget to check out bar ware in the basement!”
“The clerks are so helpful and always cheerful, I currently look like I came out of a two year sabbatical on the back mountain, I've had no discrimination or tag-alongs to pressure me and they've remembered me on second visit, well worth a stop”

“Visiting from out of town and found this place just hours before my flight. What a treat! I wish I had more time and could visit when they restock! I'll be back anytime I'm in Portland.
I also love that I didn't feel pressured, no one chased me around the shop. It was at my pace and leisure to explore different corners of the well curated store!”
“Feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The nostalgia is consuming. Suddenly you have an overwhelming desire to retrofit your entire home-Wait, actually move into a new home which is reminiscent of The Brady Bunch-or possibly a cool apartment like in Mary Tyler Moore and go all out with new-old-decor. It’s that good. Go, enjoy the experience-and remember to chat with the staff, they are an incredibly friendly bunch.”
“My new favorite store that I wish was open on Sundays! I found the best pieces here for really great prices. For some reason I always have the urge to go on Sundays but they’re closed and I make myself sad every week haha”
“A true gem of a shop full of folk art, unique vintage, and contemporary artists work you can’t find elsewhere. There’s a back story for every piece that the owner selects and it’s all so thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend?”
“I didn’t get the lovely lady’s name who runs this but she did tell me she collected this stuff and I can’t tell you how beautiful the jewelry was. She pulled out a box just for me to look through and I found some beautiful pieces she even gave me 20% off and a super good deal and my boyfriend a free machete it was fantastic in there i definitely say this is the place for amazing antique and jewelry everything girly”
“This place is awesome!! Went in for the first time today, lots of unique items all priced very reasonably. The shop owner Allie was very helpful & nice. I’ll definitely be stopping by again in the future!”
“Oko is the most lovely place.
I have bought two rings from them—who doesn’t need a gift… or 2… for themselves!?—and they are so utterly beautiful. I never take them off and never plan to.
Those working in the store (including the owner) clearly care so deeply about what they do. They understand jewelry and listen to what you have to say. They make you feel like a friend immediately.
The first ring I bought I came in to try on two times before deciding to splurge and each time they were so sweet and patient and not sales-y at all. Their ring sizer (which I needed for both rings) did an amazing job as well for such a reasonable price.
At some point I told them I wanted a ring with a snake one day, not thinking anything of it. A few weeks later they texted me with a picture of a new snake ring they’d gotten in, which took me by such sweet surprise.
They’re truly the best people with the most unique and special collection of beautiful and stunning jewelry. And I should have written this review a year ago.”
“i love going to elemental arts. very caring people, homey. There's always something new to see. It's right by 2 coffee shops as well as Henry Higgins, its a great spot to chill, relax and enjoy all the beautiful treasures. i really hope everyone gets to see it too.”
“Pretty great place! All in all it’s just a “Goodwill Highlight Reel” but there’s plenty of nostalgia to make up for the prices. Expect to find T-shirts that were once around $5 at your local goodwill, for $45. They also had some pretty cool “The Crow” trading cards. Go Brandon Lee! Bring your film cameras here, great place for vintage pictures that’ll make your friends think you can time travel.”
“Multnomah Antiques is a hidden gem of an antique store. It's much bigger than it appears to be from the outside and they have quite a variety of things to look at. I enjoyed seeing the a lot of things that reminded me of my childhood.”
“Lots of unique finds here, like vintage/antique lamps and hardware. It felt similar to being in an old workshop or warehouse. The shop owner is very kind and knowledgeable, and recommended other antique shops in the area. I highly recommend stopping by!”
“Master restoration! Mike and his team refinished a Spindle Cherry Bedroom Set (4 pieces) which were dark stained and damaged in several places. They suggested a natural finish and the wood turned out stunning. I highly recommend this place for any treasures you may have!”
“Such a cool thriftshop! Great selection, and the gentleman who works here is very kind and helpful! The dry cleaning thing to cycle the clothes is sooooo cool! You NEED to stop in here when on Hawthorne!”
“This place is the best and Tony is the man, it’s always such a pleasure and the place feels like a museum. I pop in and every time leave with a working machine and a better understanding of how to care for my typewriter.”
