“I had an awesome experience at Blue Sky Bridal with Laine. I called in the afternoon on a Thursday and they had a shorter opening available for me to come look around with the option to try on one or two dresses instead of a full appointment. I was able to find exactly what I wanted in 20 minutes and use the next 15 minutes of the appointment to try it on. I appreciated the ease and flexibility as well as the savings! Thank you Laine!”
“If I could give A&Be 10 stars, I would!! A&Be was a wonderful experience and I am so glad I included this shop in my wedding dress shopping journey. It's located in the heart of NE Portland off Alberta Street. Their building is secure, clean and full of a wide variety of dresses. Although I did not ultimately find my dress there, my consultant Maya was AMAZING. She was so genuinely excited for me and really did a great job pulling dresses that would fit my style and desires, giving me focused attention, asking questions about my comfort and putting words to my feelings so intuitively. I booked the standard appointment and had an amazing experience with my 4 guests. They were able to take my measurements on the spot so that I could wasily call in at a later point to order. Two of my top 3 dresses ended up being from A&Be! Thankful for Maya and the A&Be Portland crew for offering a beautiful experience!”
“Honestly here’s the truth, I went to at least 5 different bridal shops and every photo that I would show them they wouldn’t give me a dress similar to. But DeLux Bridal had exactly what I wanted and was trying to find for a while now and I found my dress within the first 30 minutes of my appointment. I tried on other style dresses and they have a lot of different and amazing style of dresses that no other bridal shops have. They are super understanding and don’t force the dress upon you like other bridal shops do. 100% would recommend!! ?”
“I went to Kassab Jewelers in downtown Portland for my fiancé’s engagement ring. Kassab had cuts of diamonds that I hadn’t found while researching other jewelers. From the beginning the experience was wonderful. Sandra was so helpful, she showed me a couple different cuts of the diamond style I liked, then through her expertise she helped me find the perfect setting for the diamond I chose. She was very communicative and kind throughout the entire process, and apart from her creative direction still made me feel that what I was buying was fairly priced, authentic, and one of a kind. I’ll be going to Kassab’s for all my diamond and jewelry needs. It’s been a Portland staple since 1975, and after my experience I can see why.”
“Bethany steamed and pressed by wedding dress and veil before my wedding this summer. She worked with me to come up with a plan on how to most appropriately transport my dress from Portland to central OR for my wedding. Her work was immaculate, the dress was completely flawless at pickup. The dress came back with a bust form to hold the structure and a carefully placed ribbon to hang the train. The dress was transported in a sprinter van for the 3 hour drive and when I arrived at the venue, I was surprised that I did not need to do a single touchup. The dress was perfect! Bethany was a great communicator and offered plenty of instructions for touch-ups (should I have needed to do them) and gave me her phone number for any last minute, day-of questions. I highly recommend her services!”

“Had a great appointment with stylist Emily here!! When I showed up, she had already pulled several of the dresses I was interested in. My mom and I took her up on the sparkling wine offer and the whole appointment was very relaxed and a great vibe. They have a beautiful selection of dresses, most are very reasonably priced, and a lot of them are available to ship right away, so it’s a great place to look if you’re on a tight timeline. Emily was super helpful and we found some contenders. While I didn’t end up finding my dress here, it was a lovely experience and I’d highly recommend checking them out.”
“Shopping at Xtabay may be the most exquisite vintage shopping experience I've ever had (and I shop at a lot of vintage stores!). The store is breathtakingly beautiful and well-curated. I imagine this is what it would have been like shopping at fancy department stores back in their heyday. I'm not local, but I always stop into Xtabay when I visit Portland. Every boutique should aspire to be this exceptional!”
