“I worked with Bri, and let me tell you..I had the best experience I’ve ever had. They called me days prior to make sure my appointment was correct and asked me some questions to make it easier to find the dress I wanted. Everyone was warm and welcoming, my dress was the second one I tried on and nothing could beat it. They’re very understanding and don’t pressure you to spend more money. They make you feel good about what you’re wearing and ask good questions as to what you do and don’t like about dresses. Bri and I were on the same page the second we started to look at dresses which eased my anxiety. It had been over four years since I wore a dress and they were not judgmental at all. They offered us champagne and the whole environment was super cute and chic. I’m still obsessed with the couches they have in there. They even had the belt and veil I wanted too! The whole experience was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Even the manager was incredibly helpful. “The place itself is beautiful, full of natural light and SO many racks of dresses. We scheduled an appointment online, and as soon as we got there, we were ushered to the back area with separate areas for the brides trying on dresses. They even have a front area with a pedestal and even more natural light. The staff were amazing and helped us with everything. They even gave us a little bit of time since it was a slow day. Their dresses turn over in two weeks, so we ended up going back a second time. These dresses are deeply discounted and completely beautiful.”

The little room that my party and I were in was cute and comfortable and adorably furnished. She was also very sweet and listened to everything that I had to say about each and every dress. I said yes to my dress and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. “Bethany is a magician! I showed up to her about 9 months before my wedding with my grandmother’s 1950s wedding dress in a trash bag. She took a very yellow, discolored and so so fragile dress and washed the fabric until it was IVORY. It was incredible and I honestly didn’t think it was salvageable. She used the lace from the dress to create an heirloom veil that will be special to me and my family for generations. My grandmother passed before we were married and it was all that more special to have her wrapped around me on my wedding day. Don’t hesitate to take your project to Bethany!”

But my stylist Erin was so attentive, genuine, and kind. She gave her honest opinions in a kind way, and always made me feel like I was the priority. My experience was unfortunately quite opposite to my experience at BHLDN. Rushed, dis genuine, & uncomfortable! Immediately knew we were running right back to Anthropologie and trying on dresses with Erin again. After one appointment I left with my dress for my wedding. She's great at helping me find the perfect piece of clothing to try on, even just for fun, and I always leave feeling more confident, regardless of whether I make a purchase that day. The selection here is a combination of vintage, locally produced pieces, or items crafted by Holly herself, and still everything is priced reasonably and within reach. In fact, I would say the best part of Haunt is that its selection of beautiful garments, housewares, jewelry, and art is of utmost quality yet absolutely meant to be attainable and part of everyday life. It's become a real go-to spot for me, for both my own wardrobe and to buy presents for pretty much any occasion, from housewarmings to weddings.”
