Do closed campus so high school kids can't come in ...just idea know you don't have control over the school...but if it hadn't been considered maybe a way to help you...

Between the security guard who checks your receipt as you leave and the terrible quality grocery bags that rip as you're struggling to hand the receipt to the smug security guard, this has turned into a mildly humiliating, low class shopping experience. The employees are great though.

Online order was completed early despite the full parking lot. Only out of stock on one item. Great coupons.

What isn't locked up at PenninsulaFred Meyer? Before I leave the store, I have to page an employee from every department I visit before I get physically forced into the neat one-way corrals they've devised to exit/enter the store. Feels like a trip to jail, or worse yet, grade school! Just FYI, I know how to enter/exit a store without passing through a military checkpoint. I'm surprised they don't make you go through a metal detector! Luckily, I knew I wasn't having a prison nightmare... there were too many uniformed men with guns to be prison! ?

I am an Instacart shopper, and the “anti”-theft” policies here—that do absolutely nothing to reduce theft—are such a hindrance to my job. I just had a door shut and locked in front of me at 7:58 that said “this door will be locked at 8:00pm” on it. Why do I have to do a marathon to walk to my car. What is the point of a door if it is locked? Just fill it in with concrete, the same material filling the managers, security, and corporate employees of Fred Meyer’s skulls.

I usually never have an annoying experience here enough to write a review but Heather crossed a line today in my opinion. I had to get something from inside the locked family planning section. I waited over 10 minutes even after someone in electronics called for assistance twice. I finally saw someone with keys passing by so I asked for their help, I explained I have been waiting even after someone called for help twice. Heather didn’t hand me the item but felt the need to walk the sensitive item to the register that is 10 feet away, so I wouldn’t steal it I guess? I simply think when it comes to family planning items that can be sensitive, it is not necessary to have an escort to the register.

Nov 21,2023. I won’t be shopping at this store anymore.I bought an item for $20 awhile back and it was broken so I never used it. I put it back in the box with the receipt and stuck it in my car. Today I tried to return it and I was told my receipt (my proof of purchase) was expired. As if the transaction never took place. So I said I didn’t want it back and threw it in the trash next to the counter. Meanwhile the customer service person tells a colleague about another person who tried to rip off the store with a same day receipt loud enough for me to overhear.I was not pleased with her implication. This item was purchased within the past 4-6 months. If they are unable to acknowledge a purchase with a receipt and not accept that they sometimes sell broken items then I will find other stores to shop at.The disrespect was palpable.

The most inconvenient shopping experience you could imagine. Over priced. Duplicate departments spread all over the store. Some health and beauty is corralled and some is on the other side of the store. The time spent searching for a specific item can be spent diving to a different store.

Been shopping here for 15+ years. Never been a great store, but was better than Safeway....UNTIL RECENTLY. Produce has been the least fresh I've ever seen. And there are NEVER ANY SHOPPING CARTS.10-17-23 UPDATE: I still shop at this store. They now have more shopping carts than I've ever seen in this store in the past 15+ years. The produce section is still not great though.

1st: this is one of the best Fred Meyer locations in my neighborhood. The produce is high-quality and fresh with reasonable price. Staff is nice and friendly. I bet you can find almost anything at this store. Maybe I should cancel my Costco card and come here more often ?

St johns Freddy's has really stepped up and cleaned up respect/ everyone's doing a great job at Fred Meyers is set for the pharmacy and the pharmacy staff are very rude I understand you're busy but that doesn't mean be rude to me for it I waited from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for 5 pills I have to wait an extra 2530 minutes for a consultation is this sickening how the pharmacy staff will treat sick people horribly even if you were the most up most respectful person

You'd think with recent increased security would come some extra friendlies and understanding, but the opposite was true for me. I was yelled at by a cashier for not getting my receipt checked by a security guard at the exit. Embarrassing and rude. Stick to the friendlier grocery stores in the area.

I would have given it zero starts if that was a possibility. The employee assisting with the order, Vicky, I believe, was so rude and belittling with zero customer service skills. If choosing between the two- choose the interstate location.
