Fred Meyer is a pioneer of one-stop shopping, combining a complete grocery supermarket with a drugstore, clothing store, and many other departments under one roof. The store is noted for its great location. Customers praise the friendly cashiers and staff who go out of their way to assist, providing above and beyond customer service with kindness and patience. Many find they can get in and out quickly. The bakery and deli are great, and the hot food, like fried chicken and ribs, receives high praise for being great food at much more reasonable prices than a caterer, ideal for feeding large groups. However, one customer reported the hot food case was empty and had been down for weeks with no signs, which was not acceptable. Overall, it is a favorite place to shop for many, with some calling it the best store compared to any other.

Close-by place, where I get soda - and prescriptions. It tends to be the less overwhelming of the two nearby Freds, so I go there for anything medical.
