“Absolutely love this place! My go to spot for fruits and veggies. They do have some other items like dried fruit and nuts. Everything is super fresh and I found it to be much cheaper than grocery stores. One of the best places to buy your Halloween pumpkins as well. And at Christmas, they have a small selection of Christmas trees. There is small parking lot that sometimes fills up so street parking may be required.”

“Huge shoutout for Sheridan's! They were able to assist me with a special meat order, going well above and beyond to accommodate my request. A special thank you to Michael, meat dept manager. He was integral in accommodating me. Extremely kind, thoughtful, professional and efficient. He absolutely made our family holiday dinner a huge success! Thank you so much! I've shopped at Sheridan since the early 1970s and will continue until I can't shop any more!”

“Growers Outlet is the place to shop for produce! They have a section designated for sauces, salsas, and canned/jarred goods and a delightful bakery, and grains section. There is a small dairy section. They do sell plants at certain times of the year. During the summer they carry a much bigger variety of melons compared to your big chain store. The prices are often better than Safeway/Fred Meyer, and at times Winco. It is a wonderful place to shop for produce to save money and support local business.”

“This place has been there forever. I have been to many farmer markets but this is my favorite. Sometimes the farmer himself is there. The staff is really nice and the selections are good. Its all local from their farm or other local farms. Always whatever is in season so I suggest you call first. Way better than the grocery store. Everything taste so much better. And they have a U-Pick.”

“This is a stellar food cart Pod, featuring a wide variety of choices done well and a great selection of taps.Vegetarian options: Most carts have at least a few veg options. and there are fully vegetarian and vegan carts.Dietary restrictions: A lot of carts offer gluten-free options, from buns to pasta. Other sensitivities, like dairy, would also probably be easy to satisfy.Parking: You might have to park a block or so away at the busiest times.Kid-friendliness: It's a food cart pod, so it's outside with picnic tables and some space. Lots of families come through.Wheelchair accessibility: While the lot itself is mostly accessible, a lot of the carts have decks that do not have ramps. I'd bet any of the proprietors would be happy to come and grab your card, but it could be a little awkward. There are also a couple spots in the lot where hoses are covered with non-slip mats. While probably passable, they could be frustrating.”

“I've used Gatto and Sons over the years at multiple restaurants for my produce needs. Mike, the owner, is responsive, professional and kind. If there is ever an issue with my order (which is rare), they always make it right. Not many purveyors like these guys still around. Support your local business! I highly recommend.”

“Breaking bun. This place has been consistently good, I've only been there a few times. Yakisoba was kinda salty last time imo. But the buns are flavorful, they make my taste buds dance and sing. Also the portions, for 13 bucks I got chicken fried rice, I ate on that and still had a solid snack left over. Honest review is closer to 4.5/5. Just a little salty, but some people get down like that idk man.I'll be back.”

“Surprising selection of food, just nothing has a price on it but the alcohol. Though candy bars are the same price as most convienence stores, AND they have those shrimp chips I like! So good to find those within walking distance! Nice little store overall.”

“I like to come here each fall for the organic pumpkins, apples cider and pies. These are sold in the store. The farm is considered large with lots of pumpkins and other fruits in the summer. They have food stalls. Cash only for the food stall. Credit card accepted in the store. I support cash only, especially for smaller business - otherwise credit card companies makes the commissions. Each year the price has been going up so I hope the prices stops going up, or at least not so steeply. I took off a star because the strawberry u-pick was terrible. I went in 2023 and they barely had any strawberries left and what they did have were tiny ones with large seeds on them. I couldn't even fill up a regular 1/4 quart container and what I did pay for was too small and flavorless. You have to pay to go in to pick and pay for the containers. It was a waste of time to drive out to the farm, then walk out to the fields in the hot sun for nothing. They really shouldn't have advertised or even took people's money for the picking at that point.”

“Have been a customer at Kure for many years when they were in the trailer on Hawthorne. Had an opportunity today to visit their brand new brick and mortar store across the street. Very nice. Staff are always friendly, my order is always accurate and the food and drink can be labeled terrific. Love the Mission bowls and the Acai bowls.Dietary restrictions: Great for vegans.”

“Very friendly helpful staff. These guys are kind of off the beaten path down underneath the Burnside bridge In Southeast Portland. I came out of the office after checking in and asked one of the employees that was walking by, heading to his car or truck, if he could tell me where the loading dock was around the backside of the building. He started to explain but then said you know what I'll do you one better and he took me around back and showed me exactly where I needed to go and how I needed to drive into the parking lot to get lined up right. The back side loading docks take you into what looks to be the employee parking lot area so it is kind of tight to manoeuvre. I was really appreciative that he took the extra time to walk me over and show me the best path to get in. Wish I would have got his name to put in my post. But kudos to everybody all around. Very pleasant experience.”
