Went to Medallion today and was greeted by the nicest shop owner, who kindly fixed some costume jewelry at no charge to me. They were sentimental pieces only, no real value other than that, so he quickly assessed what was worth fixing and what wasn't. How rare to find such an honest and helpful business owner!
