You know- if I ever thought that I could live without New seasons Kalamata bread- I think I would die. ??

I was quite disappointed that they did not accept my mothers united healthcare card. The new program that pays for health care products and healthy food for it's recipients. Safeway (unhealthy and expensive), Fred Meyer (also unhealthy and expensive) and virtually every other grocery store in the area accepts this form of payment. I made my mother a salad at the salad bar and had to leave it there only to be thrown away I assume. Heartbreaking especially since we are living in a hotel right now while we finding a new place to live and cannot cook regular meals.

Not the safest New Seasons at all. The last three times I've shopped there I've been harassed in and outside by homeless folks. Just a few weeks ago a homeless person followed me around until I was coerced into buying them food and the staff just watched and let me be followed by him until I paid for his food. I don't mind buying food for the homeless, but I was followed by this man during my entire shopping experience until I did so and the staff just watched and did not step in at all. Maybe they could help pay for their food too instead of inviting them to be in their store at all times and chase customers until they pay for their food.

Nice neighborhood grocery, there always seems to be one in walking distance when I stay in Portland. Good selection of organic and local produce and bread. A little expensive but not out of line for the quality of the food.

I am in Portland just for the evening and wanted some good food, but quickly, and didn’t want to sit alone at a restaurant. Stumbled upon new seasons market by accident and I am so glad I did! I found yummy vegan foods to-go like the tofu salad roll, sesame noodle salad, and hot spicy peanut soup. Yummers!

Very sweet and nice staff. They totally understood the urgency when I walked in with my 5 year-old needing to use the restroom. Produce looked luscious.

Really lucky to have this in the neighborhood--clean, well organized and lovely! Particular shoutout to the young person working the deli, I'll have to grab their name next time but they're always so lovely. Sandwich was great too :-).

It's a great store for this area of town. Iovely people and inventory. I wish they could lower prices for organic produce and other staples. Organic is not a novelty anymore. It is a necessity for many folks, especially the young.

Super market is like a local whole foods with better meat options and a way nicer staff. I absolutely loved that I stumbled upon this with my friend. We bought a bunch of steaks and they came out beyond amazing. Super high quality items and super friendly environment.

New Seasons is great. Blue city people like to namecheck their “best” local grocery and having been to all relevant blue cities, New Seasons thumps them all.Produce, meats, frozen, bakery, grab and go, customer service, fast/clean/friendly… NS has it all. Good stuff.Only note is for Portlanders having serious space issues and liking to walk right into you. This manifests at New Seasons. Pay attention, Portland!

It gets a 3 only because of the nightmare of trying to get into the parking lot from Division, AND then trying to back out of the parking spot, then again pulling back out onto crossing traffic Division. There should be at least a sign for oncoming traffic NOT TO BLOCK the entry when the light changes. To safely do the latter it is better to go out the back end of the TOO SMALL PARKING LOT, drive several blocks to a lighted intersection to get back onto Division.I do not have frequent opportunities to go this location but each time I have, I remember the significant, problematic parking. This time around even though going as slow as possible and looking for pedestrians, I STill almost hit another car.Clearly this location has outgrown its parking availability. This will probably be my last. There are others I can go to.Otherwise, I am never dissuaded from New Seasons.
