I was visiting Portland and had to check this place out. The shopkeepers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the little details about fountain pen preferences that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Prices were just about what I'd expect from shopping online, so this was a much more enjoyable experience.

Oblation is a lovely little stationary store, with an excellent selection of writing stuff: Paper, fountain pens, ink, everything. The staff is friendly, and it's a great place to browse and actually handle some beautiful pens.

Good selection of stationery, from washi tape to journals to fountain pens + ink, and an incredible assortment of cards! The staff were super helpful. We parked in a garage nearby and walked over, super easy! Definitely recommend stopping here!
