The previous male tech never gave me painful draws. But every time the newer woman subbed - hers would hurt. I mentioned this to a staff person and they told me they had heard others say something similar. I started to realize this and every time I’d know it was her id be a bit anxious because of the pain (no the pain isn’t anxiety because I used to get infusions etc I know a good poker). I heard she may stay as a regular and was a bit sad because I have gone here so long with effortless draws. Now she works here as the main tech I think and it’s been really hard to stay with this location because of it. She’s very nice and professional but the actual draw technique is not good for me. The last draw I got was one of the more painful experiences I’ve ever had. I forgot to ask for a butterfly, since usually other techs recommend them for my small veins. Anyways, I am considering a different location because of the consistently painful draws. I don’t want to make her feel bad but quest should be aware and perhaps she can get more continuing education or practice on technique?

I've been coming here forever and was super sad to see sweet Adi leave. But, today I met her replacement, Angela, and she is just as wonderful and skilled as Adi, yay us! I hope you stick around for a long, long time Angela😊

I just really have to give a shout out to Angela my phlebonist. My doctor's office hadn't sent over my order as they were suppose to and I was panicking. Angela was very calm and helped me through it by helping me call the doctor's office and walking me through all the steps in order that we were able to get my orders sent right away. I am almost 70 years old, and the system being broken as it is, it was so refreshing to have someone patient and kind like Angela walk me through it. I would give it a 5 stars because of Angela. The reason I took away one star is because it was impossible for me to make an appointment through the phone or online. Even at the location I had difficulty using the kiosk. Their system needs to be upgraded and we need more humans like Angela. Maybe one day humans are going to replace machines?

Quick, friendly, and professional service. It was easy to schedule the appointment and the person who assisted me was very friendly, making the process easy for me.

You can't beat the convenience of Quest Diagnostic's Cedar Mill location nestled inside Safeway and right off the 48 bus line. I was quickly seen by Angela who was a true professional. She's the first person to draw my blood without leaving a bruise. Thank you for your kindness.

It was very warm in this one and cramped in the waiting area and in the exam room

Don’t go here. The minute you open the door you’re in a room like a tunnel. All the chairs side-by-side. No air circulation everyone coughing. They ran behind by an hour and 30 minutes the other day and then took people out of order. I will never go back here. It feels unsanitary, dark, dingy, and when you follow the rules and check in and have an appointment and then they take people out of order after waiting an hour and a half – no thanks.

Quick and professional. Tech had no trouble finding my elusive vein.
Reviews of this site had me concerned, but I went ahead since it was closest lab to where I was staying... and couldn't have had a better experience. Appt at 2:20, out at 2:31.

I was told by another person at quest (different department) that they had ordered a lab for me and I just needed to set up appointment at one of the quest diagnostics locations. Couldn't get any other information not even a phone number where i could verify anything. No customer service, couldn't get through their phone tree to talk to a real person. Eventually just set up appointment even though I had no way to link it so a supposed order. Kind of impersonal auto checking machine in the office but I understand that. From that point it was a smooth process. Nurse came out called my name and she was nice enough, quick painless blood draw, confirmed my thoughts that quest does a pretty bad job with communication and I was in and out in probably 5 minutes.

I tried tried to cancel my appointment today and go in as a walk-in because I was called in to work during my scheduled appointments time. When I showed up, I patiently waited for the others with appointments to go first. Two other walk-ins had come in behind me, too.
When it was my turn, the woman called me up by a number that I didn't know was associated with me (she called everyone else up by name) and when I asked to clarify if she meant me she gave me a snarky look like I should have known what my number was.
She then proceeded to tell me that she would not see me because it was before my scheduled time and that she could not fit me in because she had 40 other people she had to see today with appointments, and if she took me it would make her day so much more stressful. And again, at this point the only people in the waiting room were me and two other walk ins who came in after me. No one with a scheduled appointment was there at this time. When I told her I didn't understand, because I genuinely did not, she got even more rude about the whole thing and basically-- I ended up crying in my car.
I still don't understand why she wouldn't see me, but she would see the 2 walk-ins after me. I felt very singled out and targeted as she did this in the waiting room infront of the other people waiting.
I went to the another location instead, and they were much nicer-- and they also informed me that the woman I had issues with should have taken me as a walk in because taking walk ins is part of her job.
Go to the Quest off Teal. You might have to wait a little longer, but the staff there is so nice.

Very helpful to make an appointment over the phone or via the website, and try to bring your physician’s panel order with you.
You go to the back wall next to the pharmacy on the left and wait in a small room.
The technician that took my blood was so nice and gentle!! Blood draws are my nightmare but she made it quick and painless.
