The Roseland Theater is a mid-sized venue and a Portland staple for national touring acts. It is a big venue where sold-out shows are super fun. The stage is on the second floor, with an elevator available, and the balcony offers incredible views. The venue features good lights and cool light shows. Opinions on the sound vary, with some finding it great and wonderful, while others say the acoustics are not good at all, fine for rap or rock but not for good sound. It can be quite dirty, though other visits find it clean. Security is tight with a thorough safety check at the entrance, but staff are really nice and accommodating, and much nicer now than in the past. There is a wait to enter. Amenities include an on-site Trap Kitchen restaurant, a merch section, a first-floor bar with seating and a TV to watch the band, and an upstairs 21+ bar. For all-ages shows, you cannot take drinks from the first-floor bar into the show area. Parking is very limited, with street parking and paid lots nearby, but the venue is easily accessible by public transportation. The surrounding neighborhood can be a little sketchy, so caution with valuables is advised. Overall, it is a decent place to catch a show where many have made amazing memories.
Best venue ever!!! Definitely my favorite, I love how up close and personal it feels.

Went to a concert here. Venue was good. Line to get in went around the block but once the doors opened it went fairly quickly. Would visit this venue again.

Great venue. We had a extra ticket. The venue helped us get rid of it. The bar was quick and easy. Plenty of room to walk around and dance even when it was sold out. Staff and security were amazing.
