About Shemanski Park
Shemanski Park is a nice downtown green space that is popular for city strolls and relaxing. It features a fountain, large trees, cool statues, and a monument in the northern part. The park is lively, especially in spring and summer, and is near many coffee shops and fun attractions. It is a dog-friendly place with benches for picnics and outdoor restrooms. Visitors appreciate the beautiful sunset at 8:49 pm and the playground near PSU. However, some reviews mention the presence of homeless people and open drug use, which can detract from the experience. Overall, it’s a charming park with a mix of natural beauty and city life.

Lovely, meditative even in the heart of city. Lincoln and Roosevelt have pedestals in their honor. Nice touch.

It's a nice downtown park. They keep the homeless mostly out of it by not giving anything away in the park. Not being mean, being honest.

The fountain of YOUR dreams!
The sunset at exactly 8:49 pm here is beautiful. It's like watching the sun lose its grip on the city and fall away.
