Studio 6 in Portland, OR, offers a basic motel experience with a focus on friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the pet-friendly policy, making it suitable for longer stays. The rooms are spacious and equipped with kitchenettes, though some amenities may not be as advertised. While the beds are comfortable, noise from other guests can be an issue at times. The location is convenient, with a bus stop nearby and plenty of good restaurants and shopping options within walking distance. However, some guests have noted safety concerns regarding the area, although many felt secure during their stay. While the staff, including the owner, received high praise for their kindness and willingness to assist, there are suggestions for improvement, such as better maintenance of cleanliness in common areas and more consistent housekeeping services. Overall, Studio 6 Portland provides good value for the price, especially for those looking for a budget-friendly place to stay with decent amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.
