Studio Northwest is a beautiful, bright, and spacious daylight rental studio in Northwest Portland, ideal for photographers, videographers, and workshop hosts. Created with an eye for light, aesthetics, and functional design, it serves as the perfect backdrop for any creative vision. The space is nice, clean, and very well taken care of. Reviewers consistently praise the gorgeous natural light, exceptional views, and awesome window wall, which is particularly stunning at sunset. The room is spacious with high ceilings. It is fully-equipped with a stocked storage room containing everything needed, including lots of accessories, backdrops, supporting materials, C-stands, sandbags, a great variety of furniture and props, a Bluetooth stereo, and a changing area. Useful amenities like a waiting area with teas and water are also noted. The management is good, communicative, and friendly, with an easy and clear reservation process and helpful instructional videos. A few points to consider are that the interior lighting is ceiling cast and very yellow, and the hardwood walls and floors are bare, which may affect video or audio recording. The studio does not provide lighting equipment. Access involves going to the fifth floor with a call box and key fob, which can make carrying gear in and out a bit stressful within a tight reservation time. Despite this, reviewers find it an awesome, great, and affordable space, with many stating they will definitely use Studio Northwest again and hope for a long-term collaboration.
