“My work truck (semi pulling a set of doubles) became unsafe to operate somewhere between Hood River and The Dalles, and I needed a tow back to Portland. My dispatcher called Gerlock and told them what was going on. So Ian brought the heavy tow truck out and told me that he was hooking up to it and towing the whole thing at once. I was impressed because that made one heck of a long and heavy combination. Ian was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. He explained everything he was doing in order to put my mind at ease because I had never been towed in a commercial vehicle before. The whole process from start to finish took some time, which is to be expected with this big of a set up. Plus there was a breakdown in communication on my end I think, which lead to Ian having to have his coworker, Larry, bring some more air lines out to us. Larry left his dinner and drove them out to us lickity-split and before I knew it, we were ready to get rolling on down the road. Ian was very thorough and dilligent, towing me back to my truck shop with no issues or damage. Thanks Ian and Larry, for making my first commercial tow a pleasant one, and turning my bad day into a good experience.”

I was planning on requesting a tow to a nearby shop but he was able to figure out that I just needed a better jump with his equipment and even followed me to the shop to ensure I made it there without my car dying! “Bob Thomas Carstar Collision took good care of my Tesla Model 3 after a collision and was on track to get the repairs finished until StateFarm Insurance turned it into a “total loss” designation - I was treated very well by the front desk staff and Nelson who managed my car and communicated with me directly until the insurance determination. I am very disappointed that I could not have the car repaired as it was still drivable. I give high marks to this shop and highly recommend them for auto collision repair. I appreciate Nelson’s time and effort in keeping me informed and getting what was needed done - estimate(s) and procurement of parts - and would turn to this shop again if ever in such a problem situation again!”
“On June 21st I had a sudden issue when my mercedes stalled & wouldn't start. Called portland towing and he showed up in 15 minutes!!! that was amazing as I was stuck in the middle of a lane! It was a Friday and 10 minutes to their closing. Talk about customer service! I am thrilled with the VIP service I received I definitely will use them when an issue arises!”

“These guys are awesome. I went here to get my car fixed after an unfortunate oil leak and they took my car in and fixed it. We hung outside their shop for ~6 hours (we were on a road trip with nowhere to go) and they treated us with kindness and hospitality. Would recommend this place to anyone. Also, since they offer racing fuel, lots of cool cars/motorcycles come by!”

“Wow. I had several scrapes in my front bumper from backing out of a steep, curvy driveway. Daniel restored completely – to like new condition! It was less than the cost of a new bumper by a lot. Our family had an emergency situation, Fawad went absolutely above and beyond to help us, and only thanks to his assistance and compassion were we able to help our grade school aged kiddo feel safe and secure as quickly as we did. He arrived in a fraction of the time that Roadside Assistance had quoted, which as a parent I appreciated so much because my first goal was to help my child/get home as quickly as possible <3 He reached out via phone while on his way so that we could confirm our location, this was so appreciated. Our specific roadside assistance need ended up being different than we'd thought, and Fawad was patient and did not even for a moment make us feel bad about the confusion (even though it added more time to his service call with us). Our family ended this unexpected adventure being reminded that there really are kind and caring people in this world-- Fawad, we appreciate you!!”

“if you need a tow, call don! called about 10 other towing companies, they either didn't answer the phone or quoted me ~$230 to tow my car 0.7 miles. don charged me almost $100 less than other companies quoted. very friendly dude, honest and quick! i've had him tow my car twice now, hopefully won't need to again but if i do i know who i'm calling!”

“A couple of weeks ago we called AAA for someone to tow an old scooter my boyfriend and I were restoring. Lando from Crown Towing & Repair arrived quickly. In addition to being friendly and personable, he took great care to make sure the scooter was securely attached to his truck in such a way that it would not tip over and be further damaged. We asked questions which he answered knowledgably.
The tow was from North Porth to outer Southeast and Lando made sure to confirm the delivery address before heading out. We drove separately and he arrived just minutes after we did.
I would highly recommend this young man for future tow jobs due to his responsible care of our property and for his excellent customer service.”
