The Manger of the Branch is rude and the employees really dont care what their property looks like. There is trash everywhere that spills into the neighborhood, they allow the houseless to congregate near the front so it feels unsafe, the attitudes are not customer service forward at all.

For several days during the week, the entrance to the ATM and the entrance to the bank have been occupied by homeless people, I can smell them and it is dangerous to withdraw money from the ATM, do something about it

I see why this bank has terrible reviews I brought my payroll check here thats issued by this bank to them to cash. I lost my drivers license so I have a temporary one that I just got a few day's ago I also have my old expired one, birth certain and social security card and they still won't cash there own check ?? Lady wouldn't even check with manager this is why no one does business with this bank

I had a very smooth and polite experience opening my account. I found my contact person Malcolm to be helpful and attentive to my needs. He gets a 💯 for great customer service. 14 NE. 181st location.

My husband came in here to cash his first check from his new job. Diana refused to cash his check, for absolutely no reason other than her personal feelings on the matter of who wrote the check.
Drove across town to another bank where we were met with friendliness, professionalism and the check cashed. I’d avoid this location

Had a great experience with Maricel here in the past, but the branch manager Diana is just the worst. Serious attitude issues and just plain rude.
She told my wife she didn't have access to anything in the IDA I signed over to her for our house and became very argumentative when she contested that. A teller corrected Diana, but she doubled down and pretended she was still right.
Zero respect or people skills with Diana. Certainly raises questions as to why she's branch manager when the tellers know more than her and are better with customers too.

The smell of human urine is so overwhelming, I felt so uncomfortable trying to deposit money into the ATM with two meth heads sanding next to me. Holding $100s of dollars in cash, I left. Why did you have to get rid of the nice location and just 181? What's the point when you gotta deal with tweakers just to use your business now.

Been with this bank for years, everything went great until I had to replace my card. They locked the card I was using at first and then unlocked it when I called. Then when the new card never came I called and asked them to send it again. They CANCELLED my current card (after I told them I still wanted to use it) and said oh well we can’t do anything about it. So now I have to figure out gas and food when I have no other bank except this one. I will be changing banks soon.

I’ve been banking with Umpqua For a while now. I’ve always had great experiences. Not today. The customer service is terrible. Don’t the tellers realize that without the customers there would be no bank? I’m going to close my account and go where my hard earned money is respected! Maricel needs to learn some customer service lessons!

Worst service of my life. The teller was rude, untrained, and couldn't even handle a simple transfer even *with* the assistance of their supervisor. Then, when closing the account, they wasted over an hour of time for nothing (out of spite for closing the account?). Would not recommend Umpqua to anyone, ever.

The worst bank in the world they literally stole my money and refused to give it back. They want me to dispute transactions in my own account that I approved but only because they want to keep my money. Do not go here they are thieves.

Unprofessional and inattentive to customer needs. Limited hours, and I keep being charged for paper statements even though I've changed my preferences and called in multiple times.
