The people at the pharmacy are rude!

Terrible pharmacy service; they call you when prescription is ready to pick up, and then they don’t really have it ready so you have to wait 20 for a trivial prescription. Multiple times. They also close at mid day even though that’s not advertised anywhere.

**UPDATE** - For all those who have had a bad experience here, I’ve formally filed a complaint with the Oregon board of pharmacy’s regarding this facility and their lack of care for patients.
You would never know if your medications are ready at this facility for a variety of reasons. Lack of communication, professionalism and work ethic. Come visit for 5 minutes and observe - they look like they’re dead zombies. If you hate your job this much, please quit. I guarantee it’s not worth it to you or anyone else you face when you show up to work. Hard to believe you’re in Bethany when you visit this pharmacy, thought it was skid row.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. They loose prescriptions, not order correct supply of things, give you false information. The store manager is defensive and unpleasant. They are putting people’s lives at risk. I wish I could give 0.

My comment is specifically for the pharmacy as are most others I’ve read. It’s not the pharmacy staff fault but management. This pharmacy is atrocious in regards to the understaffing and all the issues that follow. These poor people are obviously overworked and understaffed and all the patients and customers are suffering because of it. I have had numerous problems in the past couple months but nothing tops a medication that I have been needing for severe endometriosis and if anyone has it they know how miserable it can be. It’s a special medication that requires a prior authorization to be dispensed only by this Walgreens as it had been my pharmacy on file. It’s been over 2 weeks and I still don’t have it! Everytime I call I get a different reason and now apparently it’s on back order so I’ll just sit here and suffer until whenever I can get it.

The reviews are true and we have experienced it first hand. Our prescription wasn’t ready on the fourth day and after requesting and a lot of arguments we got a few doses since it was for blood pressure which is critical medication. Now today even after 10 days of placing the first order, they did not get it ready saying today they are doing antibiotics only. This was so freaking unbelievable . If you don’t have staff, please close the services at this location. Please do not harass people who have their prescription orders sent to you. To top it all the lady has the audacity to have an attitude.Disgusting and pathetic at the next level.

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever used and they never answer the phones. Frustrating that this is the closest to my home. If you can use a different location.

I have to agree with everyone else that Walgreens is dropping the ball severely. I recently had a prescription sent to them and after two days it still wasn't ready. I had my medical pro switch the prescription to CVS on Cornell and Saltzman/Barnes and it was ready within 3 hours.
I'm fortunate that my prescription wasn't for anything severe because I can't imagine a company making people wait days for a medication that could be getting rid of intense pain or other severe issues.
I understand that they are understaffed, but that's not a reasonable excuse. They should either stop taking prescriptions until they are caught up, stop taking new prescription (refills only) until they are caught up, or at least have a new prescription trigger a robo-call or email that explains the current turn times, so people can send their prescription somewhere else if they have an immediate need.
This isn't a fast food restaurant... They are dealing with people's health and wellbeing... They have to be held to a higher standard and they are failing in every way.
BTW, when I went to CVS I was in and out within about 6 or 7 minutes. Every time I've been to Walgreens I've had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to talk to someone, and even after I get to the window I still have another 15-20 minutes before everything is complete and I can leave.
At the end of the day I'll never go back to Walgreens again (for prescriptions or anything else) and I've become a huge cheerleader for CVS.
Please save yourself a headache and avoid Walgreens at all cost.

My doctor sent the prescription to this pharmacy and they are telling me that they haven’t received any prescription from the doctor. My doctor’s office tried to call them, they are not picking up. They have become really bad in delivering the services they need to.

If I could give them zero stars I would. If you have health issues I do not recommend this pharmacy, try the one on Cornell and Murray. This store has zero staff that are nice to even speak to. I have had pharmacy employees be rude to be on so many occasions and today was the final straw. I called to see if they could check Walgreens near them to fill my Dexcom bc they have none in stock. My insurance, like most, will only cover test strips or the Dexcom for my juvenile diabetes supplies so if I don’t have the Dexcom I have to purchase my test strips out of pocket at a dollar a piece which effects me greatly bc I am on disability due to my 8 diseases. My insurance will only cover Dexcom at Walgreens and the rest of my prescriptions are with CVS or I wouldn’t use Walgreens at all. I was treated terribly on the phone and then when asking to speak to the manager I was hung up on. I called back three more times heard the tech answer the phone and hang it up. This tech was so rude she had me in tears.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
