Nick Dobson, the branch manager, decided to leave on vacation at an in opportune time. Wells Fargo should not be trusted.

I’ve had an account with well over 100k for several years at Wells Fargo. I recently ordered a cashier’s check for $75,000 and was asked to pay a $10.00 fee for the cashier’s check. I was outraged. I refused to pay it and they waived the fee. At what point are you considered a valued customer?

They won't cash checks from their own bank. They don't trust themselves.

Stopped by this branch yesterday around noon to get some important papers out of my safe deposit box needed for a transaction. There was a piece of paper taped to the door saying "this branch is closed until further notice". There was no indication if or when they would be reopening. What do they think customers who have important items in their safe are supposed to do???? There was no email or other correspondence given to customers warning about a closure. No way to run a bank. Lots of customers were standing outside upset with WF about this unannounced closure. One woman said she was going to take all of her money out of WF. Can't you at least post when you expect to reopen so that customers know when they will be able to access their assets you are holding? Another example of WF terrible customer service and failed business practices.

This is the best Wells Fargo branch I go to in Portland. It's now the only one I will go to. Customer service is excellent and the staff are awesome. The staff are all efficient and offer speedy service.

Maybe was the banker's first day, but she was both unknowledgeable & unprofessional, but at least she had enough sense to call in Customer Service

I went into this bank to get 2 $100 bills broken down into smaller bills. Specifically $20 (9), $10 (1), $5 (1), and $1 (5). Well, this bank does not make change for non-customers for more than $20. I spoke with Nick, the manager, and his explanation was that it was to prevent his tellers from being short changed and that it cost them money to bring in change. I wasn't asking for 20 rolls of quarters. I find this absolutely ridiculous. I went to Bank of America and they gladly made the change for my request and didn't even ask if I was a member ( which I am). They either need to train their tellers better or find better people if that's part of their excuse for not serving the public. Wells Fargo will never earn my business

All I can say is Wow! I am very impressed with this Wells Fargo bank! Well first of all I must tell you to always go into a branch to set up an account. Do not do it over the phone. The process is so much longer! I actually called the branch first to set up a appointment. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. She got me connected with the appropriate personnel for my needs. I got an appointment the same day! It didn't take me only 30 minutes to finish the process! I really enjoyed being educated on my account. You know hidden fees or annual fees! I was even shown some new ways to manage my business and to grow my business. The branch was the biggest I had ever seen. The general manager was very nice as well. The entire staff were dressed very nice and professional. Everyone was friendly! The bank was very clean inside. When Mr. Henry Wells started his bank this is the kind of service he would want. Thank you once again. 10 stars! I highly recommend this bank!

It is a nice new looking location, but I had to wait nearly 15 minutes in line. The staff is friendly, but not as knowledgeable as I wanted them to be.

Wanted to charge me $7.50 to cash a check that was drawn on a Wells Fargo account and had sufficient funds. What B.S. Wells Fargo needs to disappear! Corrupt scumbags

I've been banking at this location for ~13 years. The service from Tellers, New Accounts, and Managers has been consistently friendly. There's rarely a line save early Monday morning. And when there is, they usually calm any angst with, "we'll be right with you." The ones who whine about banks are usually those who are unable to manage money. Thomas Liddel is a rock star personal banker, very thorough and excellent follow-up. There does seem to be some wasted space in the giant parking lot, i.e., a redesign could probably produce more spots. And there's the occasional riff-raff that hang by the ATM, so it would be comforting to see a security guard like at BoA down the street.
