“Iv contacted this company they know of the "xrb" fake package scam. They don't know who it is. But are angered and very aware of this situation. After a long thorough talk with the staff over the phone and further research. They seem to be a pawn shop or surplus store that has a physical address you can visit. So after my factual findings this company knows of this "fake package scam" and has nothing to do with it. The address provided is an empty lot as the pictures show on Google and their number is not associated with this scam. I'm giving this company a 5 star rating for taking the time to address the situation and confirm they are in no way associated. Again this is just research and my finding I claim nothing here as completely factual until other wise proven. I thank this gizmo company in taking the time to acknowledge the package scam going around and was nice enough to confirm by word of mouth they are no way involved.I am just a freelance reviewer prov8ding word of mouth and experience for proof of good business conducting. My main goal is to find bad businesses and make them know. And if I find good trusting company's along my way I make sure they get credit where due.And after my week long search for information. Gizmo surplus taking the time to clarify their bussiness and situation of understanding leads me to believe gizmo surplus is as described on their web site and as previously stated is not associated with the XRG Hillsboro package scam”

Totally unrelated to their business practices, I would love to see them remove the suffering plants in the showroom, as it's clear they aren't getting the sun and care they deserve. ? “This review is about ten years overdue. I bought my first ever turntable off eBay. A Setton TS-11. Now I don't remember what I paid for it but I bought it knowing it needed a new belt. At the time I lived about a half mile away. It wasn't far but it meant walking up and down a couple of hills. Oh yeah, I didn't own a car at the time. So I walked it over there and asked them to take a look at it for me. I knew next to nothing about turntables. I don't remember why exactly all the back and forth but I believe I carried that turntable between the shop and my home three times altogether. In the end, they got it working beautifully. In addition to fixing my turntable, they sold me an old radio shack mixer and helped me troubleshoot my audio setup at home. Both the turn table and mixer continue to work perfectly to this day. “I had a fantastic shopping experience with salesman Dana Fox at the Janzen Beach Video Only. He did a fantastic job addressing my specific questions and demonstrating different tvs ability to perform in the areas that concerned me the most. He was very informative, low pressure, relaxed and very focused on getting me as good or even a better price than at the larger corporate competitors. We looked at all the tvs and peripherals I was interested, I told him I needed to go home and think about it, and the next day he helped me actually buy the tv and other items I'd decided I wanted. An excellent buying experience...and I love the OLED tv and 4K Blu Ray player I picked up...I'm all about watching old movies all over again now.”

“I placed an order for several items on October 26, 2023. I received my items a week later with free shipping. All my items arrived well packaged and accounted for.Fast forward to today, 11/15/2023. I went detecting with my new gear, which were the Nokta finds pouch, I bought two of them. While out detecting today, I noticed that one of my pouches had a manufacturing defect. One of the zipper pockets was actually stitched together and it would not open to the pocket. I came home and called out to the store and got Bob and his associate on the line. Let me tell you, they immediately apologized and are sending me out a new pouch. They were super nice and helpful. Very very easy process, I wish all customer service issues were handle this easily.Also, I was on the market for the Nokta Legend LG 12x9 coil. I searched all over and could not find it. I do not like to use Amazon because I like to support US small businesses for my hobby purchases. These guys had in stock and got it out to me. Outstanding website, outstanding customer service, and very nice to talk to. I will absolutely be using them for my metal detecting needs!!Update: As I am writing this review, my new pouch has already shipped and I was sent a notification and tracking number. Feel free to ask questions to the employees working there they have tons of information and are knowledgeable about cameras and film. I usually go there to get my film developed and printed. Would recommend it if you're looking to print out some family photos or any type of photos.”

“Pro Tv Repair is a MUST if you are having an issue with your TV. Located in Beaverton, they have easy parking and a welcoming staff. My tv’s screen went black and after trying everything I could to bring it back, I called Pro TV repair. It is a $35 diagnostic fee which will go towards the repair service when the diagnosis is determined. Mr. Hilario was kind to bring my tv into the shop. He wrote up a ticket and told me that I would hear back on the diagnosis later in the day. A kind lady called a few hours later and told me that the LED backlights were out and they could be replaced. My total was $175 and had my tv back all in the same day! So much better than spending hundreds of dollars for a new one when the problem was totally fixable! Less waste in the dump and support a local business!”
