“I use this location the most in town, it is so convinient for me. I usually use the drive through and Brooke, the drive up teller most days I come through, is always so personable and always has a smile. Maps is always so helpful and knowledgeable. I have had little to no problems banking with them. Always recomending friends and family to switch or if just starting a bank account to check here first.”
“In-person experience has always been great. Recent experience with their online system for the first time leaves a little bit to be desired. System is clunky, and allowed payment checks to go out from a closed account, resulting in fees and hassle.”

“I've been a member here for about 12 years, and they've always been great to me. Every year I go to a festival I California, and the festival often has instances of card theft or fraud charges due to how they run it and the last few years, their pos services have made this weird mistake where someone's card would pickup the transactions in the nearby area, meaning I ended up getting charged the exact same amount like 8 times at once while there. The fraud department has been able to get the duplicate charges reversed each time and has been so helpful and kind about it.
They have helped my parents and I open inheritance accounts for my kids when other banks made it difficult, and have always been on the ball about contacting me when there's something wrong or suspicious with my account. The interest rate on my Credit line is better than any other bank despite me have a low/average credit score, and they're (almost) always really patient and polite with customer service.”

“This has been my bank for many years. Ive never been disappointed with the service provided by its staff. But recently I was having a problem getting money from my account to another bank. I tried doing it online, but my internet wasn't strong enough; I tried through the customer service phone line, but my cell service wasn't reliable enough. So I drove into my branch on State Street in Salem, OR, with an attitude and was helped by Cathy. She was marvelous; patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She took care of everything I needed plus advised me on possible alternatives for future needs. I had walked in in a bad mood and walked out happy and quite satisfied with the service at this branch.”

“All the 1 star reviews are from miserable ex employees who are mad they didn't get their way or mad because they weren't coddled. Ignore those reviews because they're wrong, don't judge a workplace until you've worked there and half the people who have been fired for their own actions are usually pretty miserable as well. Go to work and do your job and you won't have any trouble. WF has always accommodated me medically and I've yet to find a situation where they haven't been transparent with attendance so for anyone upset about that you can't be mad about transparency. Zero complaints from me and nothing but praise.”

“The one aspect of WaFd that keeps me there decade after decade is the fantastic customer service. My most recent experience was yesterday with Joseph and Liz who were available by phone, talked me through the new app, and did it with kindness, efficiency and professionalism. I have many other similar experiences from my many years of being a customer, and always the same fantastic service by their employees. Five starts aren't enough for this business!”
