About Oregon State Capitol
The Oregon State Capitol is a beautiful and unique building, distinct from many other state capitols. It is a long, low white marble edifice with a Greek-style rotunda and a golden statue on top. The area is a lovely and well-maintained space with beautiful parks, cherry blossoms, and fountains nearby. A World War II memorial is also close by. The building itself offers an amazing experience and a great opportunity to learn about Oregon's history and legacy. Visitors should note that the Capitol has recently been undergoing renovations and refurbishment, which may limit access for tours inside. Despite any construction, it remains a place that commands respect.

Gorgeous artwork inside. The Statue on top is a great focal point for pictures. We went for the Cherry Blossom Festival & loved all that was done for it. These pictures are from the festival.

Beautiful and historic building. The new upgrades add a touch of modernity on the inside while still preserving the buildings historical nature.

Beautiful place to spend time with love ones or by yourself, relaxing and admiring the beauty of the cherry blossom trees, either you're only visiting or living there, but a place to see and learn more about Oregon and the city of Salem, the capitol city.
