This Safeway is located at 1265 Center St in Salem, OR. The store is described as super clean and offers an excellent product selection with very competitive prices. It provides a convenient and friendly grocery experience with a full-service bakery, deli, butcher-block, and produce department. Services include Order Ahead pick up, Grocery Delivery, and DriveUp & Go™ for speed and convenience. While noted as a smaller store in a tougher area of Salem, it maintains a pleasant shopping experience even late at night, with staff that generally go out of their way to help. However, experiences at the customer service and self-checkout counters can vary, with some customers finding certain staff members to be less than pleasant, which has negatively impacted their overall perception of an otherwise great local store.
The Safeway has a lot of interesting people hanging outside & by the doorway at night. Little better then it has been in the past.

It's tough to rate these guys here, especially since they are in the toughest of.locations. I really should give.them five of the stars.

Super clean store, excellent product selection. Staff gp out of their way to help you find d the right product. Prices are very competitive too. Great place to shop. I can't wait to go back there again.
