“This is a magical little place filled with wonderful objects and cakes! And tea! And tea cakes! And fancy little candies wrapped in beautiful papers and foil, smoked fish, sausages, and fresh baked bread (the loaf was warm.) Sweet staff, truly kind and welcoming. I can't wait to go back.”
“The shopkeepers are always great if you have any questions! The store has a wide variety of sauces, rice, and other goodies! They have gorgeous bowls that i will definitely come back to get some! The prices are fair, and they have the best selection of Asain goodies in the area! If you haven't stopped by yet, you definitely should!”

“The people that work at this place are good kind people, the customer service shows you that they care, and can go above and beyond. I only have one issue and it may simply be with their online ordering system. When you do a click and carry you would think that it would automatically trigger the warehouse to send extra inventory that week in order to cover unusually larger orders of certain items, however sometime even when I order in advance there are still often substantial shortages. Aside from those rare supply instances the employees are the best.”
“I’ve been shopping at this location for multiple years. It’s such a great store to have in the area. There are great deals to find and employees have always been helpful when needing something. I love that they have a good cheese selection and a good amount of healthy and vegetarian items. L I’m giving 4/5 stars because prices have been going up lately. I know that’s true for everywhere, but it’s getting harder to find really great deals (like $1 or less items), and that’s what I go in there to search for. I hope they’ll keep prices low for customers who rely on that.”

“The workers are very friendly. My sister and I got stuck in the snow just across the street from that store and it was at like 6 am and he was the only worker in the store and he left that store and came and helped us untill we weren't stuck anymore ... Which was so nice of him to do.”

“This is my favorite place to shop, well it was until it went public. I've been shopping here since we, restaurant owners, had to either pay with company check or cash, so sometime in the 80's. Since it has opened to the public they are MUCH more busy, which is definitely good for them, since the public sees the great prices and buys all the products!! Staff is very helpful and friendly. Shelves stocked very tidy. Best place to buy restaurant quality and quantity food and meat in Salem.”
“Market Street in Salem. It's easy to get in. It's easy to get out. There is easy access to and from I-5. Prices are comparable to other places, but you can get a good discount if you use fuel points. Staff at this particular fuel center is not as friendly as at other ones, but it was very busy. Maybe they had had unpleasant customers.”

“Well I found this bakery in good shape and very much clean, certainly appealing to the eye as the donuts had perfectly nice round holes, the cup cakes were xxxtremely tantalizing and really all was very, very good! Until I get around to the beautiful and fabulous Barbarian Creams... “Staff always friendly. Good mix of munchies and other quick pick up necessities like milk. Wide variety of alcoholic choices, though I've not browsed those too much as I don't drink. Variety of smokes and such products. Also a little tiny hot foods case that is delicious. Wheelchair accessible. Little tight on the turns but accessible, which I both appreciate and need.”

I love Better Beef and their quality meat selection. I've been a customer for a very long time. Part of their appeal was the delivery that apparently is no longer available. With two teens and health issues getting a large delivery once a month was very convenient.”
