I spoke to Adriana Diaz after applying for a rental listed through valley first property management and I was denied due to criminal history, I had applied at two other places and was able to use reasonable accommodation since I qualify for Americans with disabilities act of addictions, I had ask to appeal and Adriana said that it doesn't matter how many times I appeal it, the answer was still going to be the same. That was unprofessional and that is discrimination. People deserve chances, especially if they have changed their life around. I had two other companies willing to look past my criminal history and charge me a higher deposit. Adriana treated me unfairly and was not understanding at all.

I rented from this group when they were under a different name. It was Northwest Pacific Property Management but when I pulled up my original review on this company, the name has changed to Place 2B Ptoperties. Well, my daughter sent me a rental listing that she is interested in. I looked up the company reviews and location. They are at the same address as the horrible Northwest Pacific Property Management company used to be. So did they change their name again to Valley first or is it just a coincidence that this business moved into the same address location. If it's the same company, say goodbye to your deposit plus additional fees when you move out. Plus say goodbye to your good rental history. They were by far the most crooked Property agency I'd ever rented from. I'm guessing the name change has helped them get more renters back but if their up to their usual crooked practices, then the only thing that changed was the name! Renters Beware!

Unfortunately, renting a unit from them is a bad experience from beginning to end. They are unreliable when prompted to make required repairs to the your unit, provide low quality security, and last but certainly not least, make a clear effort to scam you after you’ve finally moved out of the hell holes they chose to house people in. If you’re reading this and decided to rent a unit, be extremely diligent in keeping detailed records of when you first move in to the day you move out. Otherwise KIM from reception will lose her temper and hang up on you while trying to inquire why you are being charged 1,700 for minuscule repairs that your deposit should cover and then some.

Valley First was very kind to us upon our move out. They were very respectful in their communication, and honest in their handling of our deposit (which can be a touchy subject with some rental companies!) Highly recommend them due to their honesty.

In my opinion, I personally did not have a great experience with this property management company. Some of the issues I have are also centered around North West Property Management and their very specific lease agreements such as specifications around what kind of candles a tenant can burn and reservation fees. (That will not be refundable 695$ to be exact) However this management company specifically, I will say that if a tenant wants to move out they are not very forthcoming with that information and will make sure the process is not easy for tenants. I emailed them my 30 days notice of vacating the property which was somehow lost in their spam. Before moving out they completed a detailed inspection of the apartment and porch area. I’ve had many inspections in my life due to housing inspections but I have to say I’ve never had such an invasive inspection before. They opened all of the cupboards. They opened the fridge and the pantry. The inspectors literally went through everything while taking pictures and having a side conversation with laughing. I just don’t think it’s professional to come into someone’s home with a microscope. In conclusion, it might be best to go with a different property management company unless you’re okay with a company that doesn’t tell tenants they are raising rent and or they won’t fix the issue of possums underneath the porch area but it’s 1500 dollars a month for this nonsense.

We rented a unit for almost 5 years. We originally rented it from NorthWest Pacific property management, and within the last few months of us being in this unit it was switched over to Valley First. They made an effort to make sure our unit was safe to live in. We weren’t with them too long, but the months that we were with them it was a positive experience!

I'm a tenant, and in the first few months of taking over from NW Pacific, I can already tell they actually care and will be responsive to maintenance requests. They just performed the first annual inspection I have had in the last 3-4 years and they were super nice/professional.
