“Picked up a beautiful scarf and a pair of men's alpaca socks during our visit to Seaside last week. Baby Alpaca fibers are so soft and don't irritate my allergies, plus they are lightweight and keep you warm. I handwash and hang or lay flat to dry when they need a wash. Yes the items cost more, but they last for years and feel luxurious. On previous visits I purchased baby alpaca sweaters, gloves and slippers. These also make great gifts for loved ones.”

“What an awesome little shop! I'm from Astoria but couldn't for the life of me find any shops open on a Sunday that sold Christmas ornaments here in December beyond the horrible big box stores, so drove down to Seaside and after making quick escapes from gift shops down the street that only sold things made in China, I discovered Shine Fair Trade, with an incredibly cheerful sales clerk who made me feel welcome and who you could tell really loved her job. Along with featuring locally made items they have an amazing selection of fair trade products including clothing and jewelry and home decor and lots of little fun things as well...even food and yes, really cool Christmas ornaments! so nice to have a place like this on the North Coast and I can't wait to go back.”

“Stopped by Pendleton today on the way back to Hillsboro, and my girlfriend and I stopped in and bought two velour bathrobes. They're great. 100% pure cotton, luxurious, great. And they were 30% off which was awesome, great deal! We were happy we stopped in! But as great as the robes are the woman who rang us up was even better! She stole the show. Hands down best customer service I've ever had. My girlfriend said the same. I asked if there was a size bigger than the ones on the rack, she looked through the inventory for me even though it was pretty clear there wasn't gonna be one, she went all out for me! And she did it with such a positive attitude! She was all smiles, telling us how much we're gonna enjoy our robes. Telling us how luxurious they are and how we deserved them and how we should treat ourselves. We were all three laughing and smiling, and happy to be there. Just cause this employee had beaming charisma and charm, and was great at her job. I'm gonna come back to this Pendleton just because I think I'm going to leave smiling! Love the customer service at this store!”
