“Making an appointment online is easy but our care team is usually booked out a bit. If we need to get seen sooner, a phone call to get an earlier date tends to go most smoothly if you are lucky enough to get Kathleen. She's thorough & if she doesn't know the answer to a question, she's honest & will get you an answer even if it requires a follow up phone call or message using MyChart. Check-In process is always quick, especially if you utilize the option to Pre Check-in online. The staff working the front counter is friendly & always willing to help with additional information when needed (financial assistance forms & phone number to apply). Ryan is usually the member of my Care Team that walks me to the Exam Room & get me ready to see our PCP. He pays attention to details & always calms me (have horrible anxiety & "white coat syndrome") while taking my vitals & prepare the information for the doctor. Dr. Dunn was the 2nd doctor I saw it this location, (I didn't like how pushy a previous doctor at this location was). I'm definitely not a typical patient due to a very complex medical history. Dr. Dunn has taken over my care since moving here in 2020 & has never shied away from helping me get answers & better care from the specialty doctors on my team. He's help me build a phenomenal team of doctors & has even ordered tests to help the specialty doctors have answers when I arrive to them. That's truly above & beyond from other PCPs I've seen in the past. Dr. Dunn is close to our age, so I'm confident we will have continued amazing care for many years!”

They often have the medications they prescribe on hand, sparing a trip to the pharmacy. Over the years I've gotten everything from chest x-rays to physical therapy referrals from ZoomCare, and I have yet to have a bad experience.”

“I've definitely seen people get turned away by the male pharmacist - he seems to be very rigid on following policies.That said, factoring in that this is a smaller pharmacy so naturally they'd be more limited on what they can carry and have a smaller window of operation, it's a great place.I really love that it's walking distance, though, and they sell many medications and store products that are close to expiry for around $1-$5 instead of msrp/retail.Considering "expired" medication just has slightly reduced efficacy, but is almost always totally safe, this is an incredible opportunity to save a lot of money on necessitiesThey are also more limited than wallgreens and cvs or safeway with being capable of redeeming things like manufacturer rebates, likely due to being a much smaller localized pharmacy and not part of a larger regional/national system.All in all, fair pricing, ease of access, and reliable service/timelines and communication are what sell me on this place, though if I didn't live so close I also wouldn't bother to make the trek.”

I can go to urgent care 5 times for the same thing, and no other doctors really care to dig deeper. Yes it gets better, but why does it keep happening? “It bums me out to see so many negative reviews of Providence Bridgeport. I switched my primary care to Providence a couple years ago and I have nothing but great things to say to them. EVERY, and I mean every time I have come in for a scheduled appointment, I am waiting no longer than 5 minutes. It's generally a very quiet clinic and the staff has always been friendly.

My doctor is knowledgeable as are the nurses. I've also had a session with the in house physical therapist (forgot his name, middle aged man) and he was super nice and helpful! My daughter and I both love Providence.”
